HOCKEYMAN23's picture thread...AM FTW! Updated 2/22/15
My buddy is still offering me the supercharger, but I'm really unsure about it...especially with 91k already on the odometer & an auto trans. I'll probably put the money I would spend on that towards my dream (but attainable) weekend car...a GTR.
After driving one on the Exotics Racing track...I must have it!
C'mon Anil...don't be mad bro! Your TL is freakin sick too! Any more performance mod plans? S/C??
Tyler...yeah it's going to be sick whenever I can pull the trigger on the GTR. Luckily no, no danger from the wildfires...it's crazy though. People are losing their homes in the one down south by Colorado Springs. It's really sad. Hope they can get this contained & extinguished soon. Fireworks are banned for pretty much the whole state for the 4th of July, but you know there are going to be idiots around that are going to do it anyway. Just hope nothing worse happens because of some poor judgement. Got some rain today, but we need a bunch more for sure.
Oh, and back on the TL...I'm doing a front plate flip mod later this week so I can tuck it away for meets & stuff. Just got the CF letter inserts for the front bumper in the mail today & going to pick up the bumper plugs tomorrow from a local dealer. Really getting tired of the permanent front plate bracket totally messing up the lines of the front of the car, so I decided to remedy that
Pics to come once I'm finished.

Still fighting with myself over the S/C fellas...my buddy is offering a KILLER deal. Must...resist...urge for boost!! LOL!
Decided against that front plate flip mod, don't know if the hinges method would look clean enough, and i couldn't fit my drill under the front lip with my car on the ground anyway. Anybody have any experience with that Swift Motorsports hideaway plate mod? It looks legit, but I want to see if anybody has it and if it fit well. It's a little pricey at $60...but it looks sick. Also want to get the front bumper painted, tons of rock chips & general road wear. I did put the CF vinyl in the lettering on the front bumper though.

that sucks about the front plate mod, you'll have to see my car one of these days.
i remember reading that there wasn't enough room under the front bumper for the swift motorsports hideaway plate, which is why i didn't go that route. maybe someone who installed it can provide more info.
PZack, Jesstezn (or however you spell his SN) made his own hideaway plate frame for just a few bucks. There is a thread about it, but I'm on the phone and can't provide the link.

They have one that is motorized and one that isn't
Yeah, I'll still think about the front plate mod and see what I end up doing in the near future. Gonna probably get a semi-pro photoshoot done soon, so I'll just bring a screwdriver so I can remove the plate/bracket before & put it back afterwards.
Most likely won't do that S/C...pretty expensive & risky. But...I am going to swap in a bored throttle body for hella cheap. Excited to see if that will bring any extra gains. Will have comparison & install pics up after I get it swapped.

Will & Chris...down for photoshoot/meet fellas. Just let me know & we'll set it up.
Tyler...no boost
Too many miles on the car & I just don't feel confident doing it. Plus I'd rather save up for Godzilla anyway. I did get a sneaky ninja mod put on yesterday though
...big bore TB, 70mm outlet. The ECU was going a little trippy after I swapped it and threw a CEL, but the battery reset trick took care of that. Now the ECU is acclimated to the extra flow & it feels AWESOME! Even driving home today in 95 degrees, felt very quick & the power delivery was smooth. I can only imagine what it's going to do when the weather is cooler & humidity is increased!

I just got my JnC custom headlights today, but won't be able to install them until Monday. They definitely look better in person. This should be your next mod man.
+1 on the headlights, get the ZR replica lense too, I cant even explain to you the difference it makes in visibility.
^That will prolly work for me, spacers will hopefully be here next week and I am good to go

yea, I got the zkw-r lenses, check my progress thread for details on the headlights and pictures JnC took before shipping.
Those headlights are sick...will most likely end up doing that for my birthday coming up in a couple months
Just took off & shipped the CF trunk lip to a local shop for re-finishing with really good clearcoat. Figured I'd do that & fix some blemishes/protect it before it got any worse. Should hopefully have it back & re-installed by Friday or Saturday. Running without a trunk lip right now looks so strange!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while guys...TL isn't in photo-worthy condition right now
Some dumb young chick rear-ended me (pretty minor damage thankfully) and I got pushed into the car in front as well. Front bumper above plate holder & the license plate/bracket took most of the punishment. I'm waiting for the go-ahead from her insurance before I try to remove any of the scuff marks, etc. Good chance to repaint my rock chipped front bumper & get the gray plastic pieces of the A-Spec lips gloss black. Now to just wait for the nod to schedule the body shop appointment. I was almost ready to get out of the car &

So I haven't updated here in a while, but I figure now's time for a small one. I cleaned up most of the minor damage from that accident myself and nothing is really noticeable unless you look for it. Not really worth the body shop hassle, especially when I'm saving for a GTR. Here's what I really wanted to post though, little surprise for the spring
RonJon certificate from last year's National Meet really came in handy

Sorry for crappy cellphone pics. Proper pictures will come once they're on. Can't wait!

Thanks Anil, appreciate it dude! Looking forward to rocking them & the Endless brakes at this year's National Meet for sure! Gonna be another great time. Hope you're well man.
Thanks man!
Thanks Steve, totally agree with you on that! Looking forward to KC again this year, gonna be sweet! Hope your Type S is still treating you well brother.
Thanks Tyler! Hope you're doing well dude, been a while. Yeah, targeting a GTR, but don't know when it'll happen. Probably within the next couple years...soon as I pick it up, pics are going up! And I'm keeping the TL too
Gonna have to get a 2 car garage before I pull the trigger on godzilla for sure, so that'll come first.
Any chance you're gonna cruise to KC this year?
Thanks man!
