Seems like everyone wants to have another meet soon,

so here it goes. Brainstorm your ideas locations, dates and all that good stuff. I'm going to even try and yes I will try to get Noah (some of you know him, some don't, out to this meet) So if I get him to come Lito, you're going to have to come out as well.

I think a bay area meet would be nice.

 

Umigo Go Karts out in Livermore have allowed meets in their parking lot. Pretty good sized lot too so I would call them up.

a meet at the Presidio in SF would be nice.

 

I remember the last one we had there. It was huge, do you know if we have to contact anyone to have it there?

 

I do recall meeting some guy named Nher there ...but for some reason, I can't remember what he looks like anymore ...
name rings a bell though....

 

One of the best Acurazine meets I've been too. Ah the good old times. We need more of those.

no lol! our yearly meets back in the day were there. we had 3, or 4?

i see you are from Sac. you would have loved our monthly drives back then. the bay area crew would drive out there, meet in Sac, then we'd all drive as a group on some nice twisties all the way up to Plymouth were we'd eat lunch at Marlene and Glen's Diner http://goo.gl/maps/1e2jX

Almost 1 year for me haha I hope this meet happens soon. I wanna see the local Acurazine people's cars. Finally, a car meet I can enjoy.

 

We did a pretty good BBQ in Oceano near Pismo back in 2008. it was one of the last acurazine meets I went to and helped organize. there were about 60~ people I believe. times got rough and people don't like to travel too far any longer it seems.

 

I'm fine with travelling but I don't mind going to Livermore or Pleasanton In N Out for a meet because its close haha I'm up for anywhere really for a meet.

 

I've been seeing the main leader of the Sac threads that had the 2G TL he lives out in EG I never had a chance to talk to him though.

But I did see Clintoris DA DIGGLER at one of the Wheels n Meals get togethers here in San Jose...

 

A meet in the bay area would be awesome. Ive been on the forums for several years now. I owned a 2001 cls and just recently purchased 2003 CLs 6 speed. I'm currently going to school at CalPoly SLO but if the meet is a weekend im back home I'll definitely make it out

 

wow people drove four-five hours for a two-three hour meet? Damn the most i would drive is two hours and thats only if i had some plans in that area afterward lol but im down to hear ideas of the azine family

 

the crater lake meets were over several days

but the oceano bbq we did in 08 was just lunch-afternoon

 

camping or staying at hotels?

 

crater lake/oregon meet we stayed at hotels in medford for a few days. people drove down from washington, and we drove up from the bay area.

pismo/oceano bbq, i dunno what people did. it was just an afternoon bbq meet

 

So when and where will this meet take place??

 

Time for all newbs to step up...and stop just wishing for a meet...then when there's a post about it, you can hear the crickets in the background

Hi fellas. I just bought an 05 Acura RL sh-awd w/tech package and i thought i would join this forum. never heard of it until i bought the acura and did some research. I live in Roseville by sacramento. I would love to check out a meet. There is a spot here in roseville that could possibly work. Speedfactory, its one of those indoor go kart places with a big parking lot in an industrial park. its like Rpm in rancho cordova. Just an idea i thought. anways great to meet you all and looking forward to meeting you at a meet.

Treasure Island would be dope!

 

the problem with treasure island is the cost for an event. LOTS of people keep thinking they can just roll in there with a huge group of cars for free now adays, but that stuff keeps getting busted up and cancelled. there are no bbq pits, no bathrooms.
it's like $2500 event fee there.

there are plenty of local parks with good amount of parking, bbq pits, tables, kids playgrounds, etc.

i think getting an actual headcount can really help determine location.

if it's like 20-30 cars, there are plenty of city parks you could go to which are free.
