If I'm not mistaken, orange is for 04-06, and the white is for 07-08.

I am surely going to try that too. I saw on another forum that the Honda "green" navi dvds are on sale as well.

I just ordered mine for $99 plus tax and shipping. $115 total for tax and shipping. I got 2 day shipping for 9.99 instead of the 3.49 5-10 day shipping.

Got the 2012 Orange DVD Map Update v3.B0.

Check your email guys! I have been waiting for this for so long!

does anyone know if there are any additional upgrades with a newer disc? Or is does everything look the same but just newer maps?

I called and got my RL disc for 103.95 with free shipping and 4 dollars for tax by mentioning this email.

So I say give it a try.

Oh and the girl sounded cute too. :giggity:

I think that it would be worth it for you, since you have a disc from 2006. Mine is from 2004, so whenever I use the navigation it always since "entering unverified road ahead" and it says that a lot.
Also there are quite a few cities that i have been to where it doesnt know anything except how to get to the center of the city, which is very annoying as well. So to me, i believe that it will be worth it, especially with 8 years of updates going into my 2012 disc.

And this is what i see on the shipping methods-

Shipping Method*

Please Choose United States Ground for all P.O. Box Shipments

United States Ground (5-12 Days) $ 3.95
United States 2 day $ 9.95
United States Overnight $ 19.95

* US Overnight and 2nd Day orders received before 5pm CST will be shipped same day and are delivered Monday through Friday.

Maybe you got lucky with the $0?

I just called Navteq to see why i wasnt offered free shipping and they said that they were having some problems with the website throughout the day. SO if anyone isnt seeing the $99, maybe you will see it now. Just use the link above.

I ordered mine for my 07' TLS, $105. Several times I've driven to a particular town only to get "Entering unverified area" It happened just recently in upstate NY. I figure 5 years is a good time to replace it & update it.

I updated mine for my '07 TL-S that still had the original maps.
Nothing changed. At all.
It still shows roads that were changed back in 2008 and 2009 being there with the businesses that were demolished during the restructuring.
Very disappointed.

If you click the Map Coverage tab for whichever DVD page you're on, there's a link that can take you to the record of updates. For those on the fence, it may make sense to take a look to see what areas have been updated since your current version has been released.

Here's the link to the white DVD.

Ohh great, I just pissed $105 down the drain! I should have waited to read more replies to this thread first. Those updated areas I won't be driving anywhere near.

they realized it was inane to charge $150 for a single DVD disc when you can buy a Garmin that's all around a better device for the same and one that does traffic too.

I get my garmin updates for free..

You're a mensch for offering, I appreciate it! But I've got a place in Point Roberts, WA that I use. Bit of a pain because I'm on an Island, but I'm heading over in a few weeks. Still, the principle of it...

Still no Alaska? WTF? I'm tired o looking at a "out of service range" error. At least remove that. I'll spend $99 to look at bread crumbs.
