Earlier this year I traded my 05 for an 07 Type-s. Recently I started to enjoy the look of the new TL' s after hating them so much, that I had to trade it in. I must say, I do enjoy the new ride in comparison to my previous TL's. The 4G makes me feel like I'm actually driving a luxury car. Below are pictures of all my previous rides. Only thing I expect to do to the 4G is change all the bulbs, a drop and rims

good call on the 09-11 models..

i really dont like the rear on the 2012 and the front is just ok, only thing good about the 12 models is the grill.

You Should. At first I was hesitant. I was not really feeling the 4g at all, but after test driving it, I realized that the car is far ahead of the 3G in everything.

Nice 4G! looks just like mine. i had a 2005 tl base before my 2010, and the shawd is really amazing! You will love it! Will you consider a roof spoiler? They look great especially since you already have the lip kit.

 

Havent looked into the roof spoiler. If you have any pics of yours please post in this thread . Only thing I have considered is just changing all my exterior bulbs.

Thanks Steven. I originally intended to get my 05 on WDP, but the price looked better than the color of the car when I bought it, so I settled for silver. But for now imma stick to WDP ..

Lol, you right! You know what though? I kind of miss the type-s. for some reason I'm starting to see more 3g's around my area, which Makes it hard not to think about my UA7.

i must admit, i am one of those 3G owners who HATED the 4G look as well.

...up until i got a 4G as a loaner...and oh snaps! i immediately fell in love with the 4G. everything about it was so great compared to the 3G.

while im still not a *huge* fan of the looks (esp the trunk), i am sold on the 4G. it's just a shame i cannot afford one at the moment.
