I've thought about wanting to do this. Just not sure how the black chrome A's would look on the front and rear, esspecially with my paintmatched black grill and the chrome window trim.

 

i wouldn't do this unless i could change the door handles and window trim to match. but looks great. i love black chrome.

 

I think it would awesome to switch all my regular chrome pieces to black chrome, then add some liquid graphite RonJon's and I would be gtg.

post some more details about that JDP front lip i saw on the other forum. hopefully they can make a fiberglass version. will it be a different design/shape from the JDM/EDM lip?

by the way, is that black chrome paint available in aerosol can? i was actually thinking of spraying the OEM grill in that color

The JDP lip will be a totally original part. Should have something soon on that. FG is probably not an immediate option but probably can be custom made.

Maybe something that looks black chrome will be available in spray but it definitely not the same thing. Real chrome is a permanent process that takes specialized equipment and materials. I highly doubt the same quality is achievable in a can. It's like the black vinyl people use to black out their trim on 04-08 TSXs...good from far, but compared to the JDM moldings, they are far from good.

We are not making any replica grilles and lips. The grille we are making is inspired by the modulo one but is an original design. The lip is an original design as well. CT short shifter is not available yet, supposed to come out soon from them though. Hard to say when.

 

what is this JDP lip? Ive gathered it will be an original product from heel toe but what does JDP stand for? Wish you lots of luck though!

Funny you should ask. Insider information abundant at Heeltoe.

"JDP" are the initials of the three people who originially colaborated to start making carbon parts. John, who makes the parts. Daniel, who I think was getting them off the ground (he was a 90-93 Integra guy and these were the first parts to come out of JDP. I actually went to school with Daniel). And P stands for the last guy but I don't remember him name and I never met him. It is pretty much just John now. He makes everything on his own by hand. I think his wife does the renderings.

Anyway, Heeltoe and JDP go back about 5-6 years.

Plugging away. I am not quoting times atm, but hoping within the next few weeks. They have an "A" badge, but we can make them with an "H" as well.

If we could get a little more activity on the others, maybe!

??? I am calling bullshit on this. I answer my phone as much as one human possibly can. And when I can't I always call back voicemails, and when possible I call back missed calls that don't leave messages. Sometimes I call businesses back because people call from work. But if you don't leave a message, I cannot help you. RE: emails, I don't recall getting any on black chrome in the last few days, it could have been overlooked. Even still, we do take a couple days to respond, worst case.

Any any rate, if you want to buy a set, you need to do so online. You don't need to call or email to buy a set.

 

Are you serious...you are going to outright call bullshit on a potential customer. Actually I left two messages and two emails none of which received a responses except one today which was 2 weeks later. For the record it wasn't as easy as you so call claim because you guys had an error in your system not allowing for 09+ models to get the full emblem package including the v6 but for a non existent 04-08 TSX v6 it would work. So before you outright lie and claim these things and tell your customer that he is bullshitting...maybe think twice. You just lost yourself a sale for your own stupidity. What do I have to gain from lieing on the tsx forums about you not helping me out...really...really tell me.

Next time I advise you maybe just throw a pm or give a time-window when you call back or try and be of assist instead of calling bullshit on me. Unbelievable business practices...

Now, the error your found on the website was a simple error that was made by me when inputting the items online for order. Your notification was truly helpful in fixing the listing. I have to say, I am well aware of the model year availability of the V6 engine. Calling it a lie and basically treating me as an incompetent was not really necessary in emails, and is certainly not here.

I am sad to have said the word bullshit, as it was not professional. However your claim really was not true.

I don't have ANY other emails in my system linked to your email address or name. If you had emailed, they would be in my system, closed and unanswered. they look great but i dont think its worth spending $100 for a set of emblems.
thats just me though.

call me old fashioned but if i replaced my A's, i wouldnt mind the ole JDM badges.
easier to clean around and i think it looks better.

This kit should be the same for all 09-12 TSXs.

No the JDP lip does not fit a 2012, 09-10 only.
