Just graft on the Acura schield, and that's how the car will look like.
By 2011, it may be time for minor model change, so maybe it will get the standard revised front/rear bumper and lights.

This is good news and I hope the V6 is available in the wagon too, but I'm guessing auto 4 only for cost and production reasons.
Any guesses how long the RDX hangs around once the TSX wagon is introduced?

Of course, this assumes that the wagon sells well. Of course, we need all the Acura detractors to start whining that this is not a coupe, or RWD or Turbo, or .....
I'm sure the RDX finishes its normal life cycle but it not replaced. Since the car is a slow seller, it might even get an extension to pad profits a little after the costs are amortized. (think RL).

Maybe Acura should classify the wagon as sports coupe wagon.
What's the possibility of the wagon getting SH-AWD and a manual transmission?
If the Sport Wagon comes in those 2 flavors, it'll be a smoking hot sell. I would buy one in a heart beat (even though I just bough a 2010 TL 6spd).
Since it's a likely rebadge of the euro Accord, probably won't happen.
Good job Acura. I'm sure the wagon would be a good seller nonetheless. I look forward to seeing it in the showrooms.

I for one can't wait!
I just hope they dont muck it up by making it an automatic and I4 only car.
Anyone have any pics of any modified ones? i did some accord tourer forum searching and picture searching and came up empty.
This is the only one I could even find with just rims:

dont worry, I almost willing to bet anything (almost but not quite) that its not going to get awd
I think the best case scenario will be automatic only v6.
Even that I think is a stretch....
Rumors are that there is a diesel one running around the US though getting pics taken for ad's

I remember seeing a Euro Accord at the Tour de France and saying how nice it looked. I think this is a great move by Acura as there seems to be a move back towards wagons. If they put a diesel in it I'd probably trade my 08 in.
Fix the front grille on this one and I think they hit a home run.

I was too... but gave up waiting and got my accord coupe instead.... a great car full of toys, could easily be an acura if they changed the badge.... looks great too.
I'm excited beacuse the tourer is a great car that shoulda came over here a longgggg time ago.
And wagons, when modified look amazing.

I am super excited for this IF it comes with a manual.
I have participated in some Acura surveys oner the past few months and I could tell by the questions they asked that they were feeling out the demand for more cargo space/utility in the TSX. I like to think my answers may have helped getting them to bring this wagon here! My 2009 TSX MT lease is up in March 2012. I will replace it with a TSX wagon/MT (Gas or Diesel but would like the Diesel better... I think).
Thank you Acura for listening! Please give us a manual!

Fifth Gear did a pretty good review video on it
I love the color of it...

Intersting you post the BMX 3-series wagon. In my opinion, that and the 5-series have be the two sexiest wagons. You know they handle well, have plenty of room, and look great. I don't know why I don't see many of them on the road.
I would keep the TSX wagon stock, but I agree, with a few mods, it would look sick.
Get rid of the RDX, build a TSX coupe as well, and add a diesel powertrain. You can DO IT Acura!
