I see that I haven't posted on this sign-in. I purchased my 98 in 2000 with 31K miles on it for $25,000. It now has 82K miles and is still running great.

 

We purchased our '99 3.5RL, black on black, CPO for $24K back in 2002. The vehicle had 58k miles and now has 175k. It has been a FANTASTIC vehicle. We just bought an '05 RL and are planning to keep the '99 too. My wife LOVES her Acura(s).

^Nice! I wanted white but all I could find was a 01, went with a 02 in black.

i wasn't even in the market for an RL (was looking at an MDX), but drove pass one one day, test drove it, and bought it (Oct. 2008) w/ 84K miles:

Hello all.

Just picked up a 2004 Acura RL with 57,000 miles. I live in Atlanta, GA, but I found the car for sale in the Washington, DC area. Flew up on Thursday morning, inspected the car, and drove it back home.

The car is silver with the slate interior. Charcoal wood trim which unfortunately has turned green on the center console. Other than the green wood, I love the car. It was a very comfortable road trip vehicle, and after a day and a half and 700 miles, I can see why many people like me abandoned Mercedes, maybe for good. The car drives nearly as well for a fraction of the purchase price and a small fraction indeed of the operating and maintenance costs.

Quite pleased, and I got a great deal on the car.

It's so hard to find anything performance wise for this vehicle, but i wouldnt trade it for the world (well maybe another RL)!!!!

Just bought mine two weeks ago with 84k miles and navigation for $6500 from a BMW dealer who offered a 3 month 3000 mile warranty. Did not have one dent when I bought it. IMHO I thought it was a steal.
