hmm. thinking some more, ive seen guys who have 2 flashes, one on the shoe and one external. maybe one of the other guys will chime in here, i have zero experience with off-camera.

Think Tank Photo has the exact sort of holster thing for this called the Skin Strobe. Unfortunately though, I believe it's designed specifically for their own belts.

^ that would work, but i am not sure I want the whole system, with the belt and all. I guess I could just use the pouch, or shove the flash into my pocket for a second.

dangit, why can't there be a 24-150 f/1.4... that doesn't weigh a lot.

been having a lot of fun with the 50 1.4 the past two weekends but its just too tight sometimes.

guess ill have to settle for the 35..

so, I think I've had enough. I think I'm quitting club photography. Probably do it for fun once in a while, but not the regular 2 nights a week thing.

I quit tonight. I feel rather free. realized it was consuming all of my weekly creative energy, and on top of my day job, yeah. totally draining me. now I will work on music again.
