That is the MAJOR reason why I chose Acura over BMW. not only the parts are somewhat cheaper,but the basic maintenance (filters, oil, wipers, brakes) can be done by the owner or nearest shop. My friend's parents leased an 05 ? VW Touareg and the brakes got worn off every 11k miles. Now the problem was that changing pads wasnt the solution. The whole assembly had to be swapped for a new one and all that added up to......................... $1500 !!! Parts were available only through the dealer and "smart" AWD system bade the whole vehicle vibrate and rattle if 1 tire had a bit more thread left than the other. By that I mean 4 MM. An oil change cost them around $50. Now they got 528i and I am waiting to hear new horror stories from them. As for Acura, full set of brake pads costs around $40 and can be changed by the owner. Oil is available for $15? + filter ($10 for Mobil 1). Closest shop charges $20 for labor, but I prefer to do it myself. Car never breaks. Believe me, on a long run, it makes a HUGE difference in price and expenses
They KILL on almost all parts pricing compared to dealers, auto parts stores, etc.

dude y u baggin on our meet!?!?! thats messed up....dont bag on our meet cause u r jealous. the thing that matters is that we had fun and we didnt need u to do it. so go have ur own gay little meet. we had an awesome mini meet. and we had fun so that was the main point.

Ok I'm just throwing this out there dont know if we start another thread but this is what i was thinking, just give me inputs. Where is another spot that we can meet instead of Elk Grove Park?
I was thinking February 28th that gives us over a month and a half to get other mods done and what not. I was thinking the bowling thing at strikes or any other bowling alley, or i was thinking RPM over there off of bradshaw by highway 50 i went there for sober grad night 3 years ago and it was hella cool! Let me know if anything else comes to mind

^ 28th is good for me. I am getting my flex pipe on thursday, thanx for help. I like both ideas. We have already planned for bowling, but do u know how much go kart racing costs ? I am so eager to race on a track with a few bends. And eager to have camshafts in my car LOL N/A = Honda way !

Yea I could get my alarm installed I finally got it today just have to find somewhere to get it installed pretty low circuit city said 160 but I have a friend that works there and he will do it cheaper on the side
yeah i went to a meet like months ago out at ucdavis one of the garages there um i met a fella who drove a black tl with a tranny swap.. black housing headlights. if your reading this holler!!!
