I was thinking we could get together for a meet. I have missed a lot over the last 4 months on the forum and I think it would be a good way to catch up and see what everyone is talking about. Also to be able to see who is still around and just chill for a couple hours. Please reply to this post if you would like to come. I was thinking this Saturday the 10th.

 

I would love to be there. However, I am tieing the knot this weekend. My wife to be would not be pleased if I did not show up. 10 November is also the Marine Corps birthday. This way I will never forget our anniversary.

Now the question is will I have my CL at it I'd still like to get together with everyone, but depending on how long it takes to get the insurance company to fix my car (and how long the car will be in the shop) thing will vary.

According to the replies so far, I vote for the another weekend. Calvin, please work something out. If you decide to stick with it, I'll show up anyway but my trunk is a mess now and it's not supposed to be seen .

last roadrace weekend of the season is the 17th, so I can't make that weekend.

I'm having my car dynoed on the 10th, but that won't take all day or anything, so I'd be around if we do it then...

 

I am doing well, in the process of making the next step in life. No sure how much longer I will have a job at RECI. Maybe we should make the meet for after the holidays so we all can be there.

I got rear ended by an explorer on the toll road, probably hit me at about 20~30 mph. I was at a dead stop (damn Houston traffic ).

They weren't kidding when they say getting hit by an SUV will screw your whole world up.

Sorry to hear the bad news. I must have missed a previous post. Obviously you are ok, which is the important part. How much damage was done to your car? These damn truck drivers have no respect for cars.
