Does your cup holder cover retract all the way?

Mine closes perfect


but when open seems like it's at an angle and thus water bottle can't sit right

any idea on how to fix ?

Yes it should open all the way (90 degrees), you shouldn't have that little gap between the cover and e-brake. Mine does
If something falls in there... good luck

Does it feel you can open it further by pushing it? maybe obstruction underneath?

Yeah I figured something was wrong with it

I tried pushing it down like you said, but it won't go down.

I am afraid to break it.

Can i take something out to look? Any instructions?

there was a pen lodged in it in the bottom
