Where to order new visor

My driver side visor won't stay in the retracted position. I can't figure out how to solve it. So I heard, just buying a new visor will solve the issue. Aside from the dealer, any other places that will sell a visor? Local Autozone/O'reilly of course doesn't have it.

Wanted to check here, before ordering it at dealer.

See if local dealer will price match (if it's cheaper)

car-part.com has worked for me in the past when I wanted original parts and didn't mind getting them used.

Just to update, took me 2 years to get around to it. Ordered it from Ebay for 40$ shipped. Hopefully install will be easy.

My passenger visor fell down a few months ago when my passenger moved it over to the side to block the sun. It was major pain to get it snapped back in place so hopefully you have better luck than me. I think this is a known issue with the TSX and Accord of the same generation.

Thank you. My driver side is unfixable completely. Thus had to buy another.

Is the install of a new one pretty easy?

Mine had popped out of the headliner and was simply dangling by the wire that runs through the visor for the vanity mirror light so I just had to figure out how to push and twist it back into the headliner. I'm not sure if mine was stripped or what, but it was such a pain to get it back in. It took me a few days of trial and error but I finally got it. I don't see how you would go about installing a new one because I don't see where you would unclip or disconnect the wire that runs through the A pillar to install a new visor and wire up the vanity mirror light. You might have to take off the A pillar trim or unclip the headliner to get to it.

I see. On my 2012 the issue is different

my visor is perfectly attached to the car. For example , if I showed you, you would think nothing is wrong

but when you put it down, it won’t go up. Inside the visor on the left corner, it has broken inside the cloth. So i was wondering if I can take the whole visor off the car . I looked at the place it pivots and didn’t see a screw to headliner just a cover.

will have to search you tube

EDIT: this video helped

Nice! You don't realize how important a functioning sun visor is until it breaks lol
