What comes after "B1" Service?
Hey guys,
My '09 has (thankfully), only been to the shop twice since 12/31/2008 per my maintenance minder. I don't drive much, and my oil life per my MM is at 20% right now. I'm curious what's up next, as my dealer has given me a really good coupon that I can use for the month of December.
I have been told to only take my car in if the MM goes off, but I don't want to lose out on using this coupon if my MM doesn't go off before the end of December.
Any idea what's after "B1", and it's associated cost? B1 was my last service.
Thanks in advance.

It depends on how you drive. I am guessing, based on what you posted, that you'll get an A1 again.
You can actually see for yourself in the MM. Click the middle button until you see the oil life. Then, hold it down to do a reset (be careful not to actually reset it, of course), and it will show you what code you're currently on. The reset process requires an extra confirmation, so holding down the reset button in and of itself will not reset the MM.

it's a car-drive it
how many miles does your car have. I also think it will be another A-1 service. I had the oil changed one time at the dealer when it was 20%. The dealer pulled up the code on the MM to let them know what service was do next. You could also go for a drive-next will be 15% which is (with my driving) about 300-350 miles. Hope your 09 continues to be problem free like my 06 with almost 118,000 miles

Thanks guys. My odometer reading is 17,2xx and like the both of you projected, I believe that my next service will likely be "A1".
