Washer Fluid Low Warning Retrofit on US Model??
Is it possible to add the lower washer fluid sensor to the US Model TSX? I know they have it in Canada, but I can't imagine why it would be a hard retrofit for the US model.

Check if the fluid reservoir has an unused wire harness (2-prong) that connects to the reservoir switch.
The washer fluid reservoir is also larger in the canadian model (4.5 litres vs. 2.5 litres). I guess it's canadian regulations that mandate that.

Even if I check every few months, with one other person driving the car happens to get washer happy because of some bugs.....no fluid for me. I'm more surprised that they couldn't add this simple feature to all the models....especially on a car that costs 30k+

Acccording to the service manual, the fluid level switch sends a signal to the driver side MICU which is built into the driver side fuse/repay box. So the canadian version probably has a different software in the MICU (i presume it is a programmable unit).

I'm with this guy. Jesus, open the friggin hood once and a while and fill the tank. Why wait till it runs out or some stupid light comes on? Just make it a habit like any other weekly or bi-weekly chore.
