Unlock Doors when put it Park

I've tried reading the stupid manual and it doesn't work. Can anyone try and walk me through the process of setting the feature to automatically unlock the doors when the car is placed in PARK.

The driver door unlocks, but the rest of the doors remain locked. Honestly, it's driving my wife crazy.. and I'm tired of hearing it. So, yeah it's bothering me too...

Thanks for the help!

p.s. Besides this little problem.. I love my ride!

'Hope everyone has a great weekend!'

I can't recall off the top of my head how to do it but mine works fine. I just followed the instructions in the manual. Best I can do is just tell you to read it a little more thoroughly.

From the top of my head: With key in position II, press and hold the up or down arrow (lower right of steering whee) for a couple of seconds, then menu will appear in MID (where your speedo is) Follow the prompt (use up-down , middle button to select the option). The 2nd gen TSX has more user configurable options than you can shake a stick at!

Don't forget that these settings are linked to the remotes. If you want to change your wife's settings, you need to unlock the doors with her remote.

I don't have time to RTFM. Can someone tell me what the most worth while setting adjustments are that they have found?

most are not "worth settings" as I left most to default. I just set my trip A to reset on refuel, like my 1st gen TSX did via the Navigation (2nd gen is via the MID)

If you like your car to give you a tone when you lock your car, you can set that also. Default is small tone on second press.

I'd like to disable the voice warning you receive when unfastening your seat belt. That's absolutely rediculous. Does Honda think we accidently take our seat belts off while driving? No, it's going to be on purpose 100% of the time so I'm going to appreciate a warning 0% of time.

I had no idea you could do this. So it resets on it's own every time you fill up?

+1 on that's cool, too.

My girlfriend calls the auto lock "date-rape locks". Oh, and she named the bitchy seat belt warning lady "Veronica" for some reason.

Yep, it is a great feature as you can keep your trip A for fuel milage and odometer at each fill, and trip B can be for the duration of the vehicle milage if you want. As noted before, the calculated fuel milage is about 5% to 8% generous on the calculation, but it is nice to keep the running tab per tank fill. I have yet to figure out the average MPH though as I believe it is based upon each time you start the car for Trip A.

Regarding the unlock, for the Manual transmission, you can only set it to auto onlock via the MID when you turn off the key. I was hoping it would auto unlock if you pull up the e-brake, but could not figure that out. Also, I could only get it to auto unlock all doors at the same time (even with the key fob) instead of one click for driver, two clicks for the rest of the doors.
