TSX Wagon Spare Tire kit

The TSX Wagon spare tire kit to covert the under-floor rear cargo storage area to accommodate a spare tire and tool kit is now available for around $130 from online Acura parts dealers. I seem to recall these used to be really expensive. Kit comes with everything including wheel, tool kit, interior trim, etc. Everything needed except the actual tire to be mounted on the compact wheel. I installed it in my car in less than an hour and am happy to finally have a real spare tire. Acura Part No.: 06421-TL7-315ZA

Very timely OP! I recall some crazy price of $800+ for a complete kit, installed. I decided to wait till my 4 year roadside service with Acura expired before considering such a kit. In those years, I never had to use their service, but I did have 2 slow leaks which were patched at a qualified gas station. I had a 3rd serious leak (big nail!) which required that I use the goop and inflator kit to get me to the nearest gas station / tire repair shop.

Pics yet? Before I can do this though, I need to replace my splash shield since the screws were totally rusted.

It was standard equipment in the 2011. 2012 they went to the pump/goo solution.

I had the pump/goo solution in my M5 and I was happy to see a spare kit in the wagon.

Now, let me ask you this, am I missing any tools or components? If my equipment were used or scratched, I would have bought that kit just for the price. $130.00 is cheap!

Pump and goo was no fix for me so I'm looking to get this kit.

I hit a pothole on a late night trip home and the lack of a spare added a 3 hour delay.

From Naples Acura online parts store
Part Number: 06421-TL7-315ZA
https://www.acurapartsdelivered.com/...TL7-315ZA.html

Nice staff there - when I booked the order they were out and found that these are on backorder nationwide.
If you've been on the fence, the price is better than I remembered
I was thinking these were over $200 when I last looked for this.
Now their d iscounted to around $150.
Buy now and it'll increase the demand and should help drive a speedier backorder recovery for everyone.

Standard on 2011 Wagons and earlier. 2012 (mine) come with a can of goo and an air compressor.
