Trailer hitch for TSX SE
I've searched as best as I can, but the search won't bother with "SE" since it's just two characters, and "Special Edition" turned up nothing specifically.
Has anyone installed a hitch on their TSX SE? I ask because I need to install a hitch for my bike rack, but the SE has a different rear valence than the normal TSX. I don't want to have to modify it in any way. Does anyone have experience with this?

Ha! you have no idea how much I've tried research for this (2nd gen TSX with hitch). I've only found a picture of a TSX wagon with a hitch.
Here's mine I had it installed 2 weeks ago.
I used a Hidden/Drawtite hitch
Attached are the pics for the Wagon (hitch is curt 11085 same one used by uhaul)
Let me know if you need more help/pics

I contacted someone at etrailer, and without any additional commentary or feedback stated "There is no hitch that will work with the 2013 TSX Special Edition"
Somehow I feel like I got a canned response from someone in Pakistan, that doesn't even know what I'm talking about. I'm tempted to buy a hitch and try it, and if it doesn't work, send it back. Unless someone has acquired experience with the SE? *fingers crossed*

Looks good and I appreciate your response, but my question is specifically for the Special Edition, which has a different bumper from your 2010 sedan.

Isn't the wagons bumper (underneath clearance) same as the sport?
Can you take a picture from the rear of your bumper from a below and side ways, also one looking up at the tow hook. I can tell you if it fits or not. I was next to the installer when he did mine.
If etrailer has not tested a hitch this model (SE) so they won't guarantee it, but if the area underneath the bumper/tow hook is the same as a regular TSX, it will fit.

Were these from Derek's wagon? It's hard to tell from the pictures, but how far does the receiver stick out past the bumper?

Yes it is possible, I snapped these pictures of some random TSX while driving (don't try this at home kids). That is the drawtite hidden hitch, same one I have if I'm not mistaken

I installed the new Draw Tite hitch today and it fit perfectly without having to modify the rear valance. It tucked in nicely and does not stick out too much. I purchased it from etrailer.com and they have a video which describes the installation for a 2011 TSX perfectly. So the p/n 24899 draw tite hitch does fit the special edition fine. I also installed the swagman xtc2-2 bike rack and it fit great on the hitch. I hope that this will help out with other people looking for a hitch for the Acura TSX SE.

Excellent, glad the picture helped.
This also works for the wagon since the bumper is the similar.
mine sticks out further since I don't have the SE bumper which is longer and covers more :/

TSX Special Edition sedan hitch
Has anyone installed Curt 11085 on their SE sedan? Was any cutting involved?
Curt and e-retailer indicate 11496 is the correct hitch for the TSX sedan, but not specifically the special edition, but Amazon says 11496 will not work on the SE. There's also a review on Amazon that says 11496 doesn't fit. Both Amazon and that review indicate 11085 will fit.
I prefer the design of 11085 to 11496 anyway. Can anyone confirm that 11085 does fit the SE TSX sedan and does not require and special cutting (other than the heat shield)?
Thanks.

Hi there all,
BUMPED this dead thread as it's 2019 and I still have the same question - WHICH trailer hitch part number.
I have a 2013 Acura TSX - A Spec (Canadian)
I called Curt hitch and they still say the 11496 is the kit I should use.
BASED upon my reading here, my body kit would need a 11085 kit.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Ok, since there is no answer, I ended up going with the Drawtite hitch as it has been confirmed before to require less cutting and it also fits both the special edition and regular sedan rear fascia.
I had it installed at Uhaul (I know, I know) but they had the part in-stock.
Came out well, it does jut out from the back of the car about 5" but it looks quite reasonable and fits the bike adapter well.
Uhaul also sold bike racks at a reasonable price (who knew).
The ONLY caveat; apparently, it's cheaper if you book the install online/through their website. The walk-in price was actually HIGHER by $20 or so.

** for reference
The part number was uhaul 24913
This is actually a rebranded Draw-tite 24899 1.25" class 1 hitch
