Stock Front and Rear Bumber...What Do I Do With Them?

Hey Guys,

I got the areokit put on my TSX and read on here that I should ask to have the original bumpers- which I did. I thought it would be good to hold on to in case (God forbid) I ever got in an accident, I could just have those put on and maybe save some money. But I think I'd like to try to sell them- they take up a lot of space in my shed and I would rather have the $ for them. Would these sell on Ebay (or here)? How much should I ask for them?

Obviously I'm not expecting anyone to be knocking down my door trying to get their hands on them. Thanks for the help.

Where did you get the kit from and how much was it if you don't mind me asking?

Actually I just saw these posting on Ebay where they are asking for 265 for each peace. Funny because mine are black also.

The areokit? I got from the dealer. It consists of what they call the front under body spoiler, rear underbody spoiler, and side spoilers. Along with that I got side body molding and the wing spoiler. The cost of all my accessories together was $2658 (including installation).

let's see some pix. I too, have a black ond and was wanting the body kit. I was also confused about their wording about it too. Most Honda "spoiler" kits are these chin-see lip kits, not a full body kits. Good luck selling them though.

I am holding on to mine so far too, but I think that if I need a part replaced, I'd likely order a new aero bumper again. I hate dealing with trying to sell something, seems like a hassle. I have a good relationship with my dealer and I told them if any of their customers got into an accident and wanted a cheaper replacement part, I'd sell mine...and give them a wee bit for a commission If I don't sell it, no big deal I guess.

I kept mine also when I swapped to the Aero kit. However I recently sold mine and if I were you I'd do the same if you're looking to get some cash for them. Don't put them on ebay, waste of time and money and a PITA to ship them. Contact the dealer you bought your car from and find out what body shop they send their cars to if they don't have their own shop. This is what I did when I took my car in to get the front grill paintmatched. Then while I was there I mentioned to the owner that I still had my stock bumpers and he then offered to buy them. He'll certainly use them eventually so he was able to save himself some money by buying them from me and I made a few hundred bucks.
