Sport Wagon + Yakima

Installed my new Yakima rack as ski season starts next weekend here on the Wasatch Front. I have just hit 2,300 miles in my car and have owned it for three months.. I paid $300 for my set (discounted rate), with very minimal wind noise. Do you think a moonroof wind deflector would help with the wind noise?

what if you got the yakima fairing I think it looks better that the moonroof wind deflector plus you can always take it off

move the mounts/cross bars closer the rear of the car. it will cut down on your wind noise with the sunroof open/closed. the closer the mounts and toys are to the sunroof the more noise you will get with the sunroof open or closed. if its noisy with the roof closed, get the faring for the rack over the mooroof deflector. the wind deflector might help when the sun roof is open.

This. Thule or Yakima type faring will help big time, more so than the moonroof deflector.

I would love to get a fairing.. but in order to open the hatch and with the length of my skis, I had to position the cross bars to accommodate both. The fairing would sit right on the moon roof glass...

Slammed + snow = misery! My car is already low enough to the ground that I get nervous on the bumps/ driveway exits. I do have the A spec wheels in storage that I might throw on my ride for the summer... but aside from that, she be staying stock! Do any of you with the taupe leather get as bad of dye transfer as I have?!

Is that the "Rail Grab" from Yakima? When you go on there website and put in TSX Sportwagon it states that no vehicles match.

Yes it is the rail grab... fits great on the car with 48" crossbars.
