Was the 250 not enough power so you went to the 350? Either way, really nice car. Congrats!

Dunno anything about the current gen IS other than it looks great (and 350 F Sport exhaust SOUNDS great), but the prev gen IS 250 was a turd. Felt like an absolute pig to drive. I'm surprised they even make 2.5L V6s. Anyway... after test driving 2 of them (the second to confirm it wasn't just the first car having engine-related issues), I test drove the TSX and loved the night and day difference.

I never gave the 350 a try but I'm pretty sure there's a huge difference compared to the 250, prev gen or current.

Those 350s are quick. They're just way to expensive lol. Even the older ones with like 70-80 k miles are still close to 20 grand.

if we're talking current gen, no. but the previous gen did.

the only reason why i consider german cars is because they offer manuals in their quicker cars.

I actually liked the TSX 4 banger uengine over the 250 engine. But in car quality its not comparable. Lexus makes a nice car. I have still have the 250 along with the 350 Besides some of the exterior being the same its a completely diff car. The IS350 is a beast. But have yet to step on it. Break in period.

German cars are great just can't trust em in reliability. Out of the japense cars 4 door segment. I believe the is350 is the best. Test drove them all before I pulled the trigger. I can't wait till the 16 gs350 comes out.

Sick!! Any plans for a tune? My buddy has the F30 335i with the N55 engine, and with a tune and full bot ons makes over 400 hp. I heard the new B58 engine cars can make 380whp on tune alone.

Nice addition with the 340 M Sport. Is it a manual or auto?

That's an amazing car. If only Chevy would have done a little more to its looks. Too bad it's nearing end of life

I may do a jb4 tune. Would be around 400 HP. This car is super fast as is with 320 HP and would me in M4 range with the tune. I want an exhaust first. I just added an M sport lip.

Those are nice looking cars.

The 3's look great. I always thought I would have one by now but I couldn't get over the cost difference. And if buying used/old, I worry about service costs.

The IS is a great car; I was thinking of replacing my used 2g is250 awd auto with a new one.... Then all the Japanese luxury manufacturers killed their manual transmissions around 2014. Did a short lease on a subaru brz but that car was just too small and a bit on the rough side.

Recently picked up a used 2013 TSX (last year they offered a manual) and I'm really liking it. The interior is not as nice as the lexus but it's zipper; especially with the manual.
