Hello Everyone,

I have a 2010 TSX V6 automatic with 86k on the clock. So Cal driving. Everything is stock.

I have a little vibration when idling and clunking when going into our out of P D and R. I figured its time to change motor mounts and transmission mounts.

I called the dealer and they want $1600 just for the 3 engine mounts and 2 trany mounts without install.... what the hell. I checked bernardi parts and its about $1200 for the same parts there. Then on rock auto its only about 200 for non oem.

Has anyone else gone through this? I'm leaning toward the rockauto parts because its about $1000 less but I dont know if those mounts will be even relatively as good as stock.

I'm also wondering if the 3G TL has the same motor and trany mounts since it has the same J35Z6 engine.

Can you just live with some idle roughness?

The issues you're having don't really seem like a dire need for repairs.

If you cannot live with some signs of roughness...then probably don't waste time with aftermarket mounts.

At 86k, I'm surprised your mounts are bad. Has this issue been diagnosed? Or is this a $1600+labour gamble/guess?
