New TSX owner

Recently acquired a 2009 Acura TSX Tech Package 6MT with 78,000 miles for $9,000(one owner). Any recommendations on what else to get for the vehicle. I’m changing out fluids(oil, transmission, clutch fluid), Air filter (K&N), cabin air filter, serpentine belt, spark plugs, tints, and tires. Thank you

Awesome deal! Manual is rare in general but manual with tech is even more rare.

Change all the fluids as you already have stated.
Don't forget brake fluid. Use a nice Dot4 (ATE for example)
Replace the MTF with AcDelco Syncromesh Modified Friction. You need two quarts.
Do the plugs but for what it's worth you still have life left in them. They are very easy to replace.
If you're up to it you can remove the clutch slave cylinder and clean/sand the rod the hits the clutch fork. Also apply Honda Urea grease.

How is the clutch pedal? Does it squeek? If it does I recommend Honda Urea grease in the CMC and clutch pedal assembly.

Thanks for the infor. I’m currently deployed so I won’t be able to drive it until next week. I just want to get a head start on maintenance and any other items the vehicle needs.

Keep an eye on the oil level. All of these motors can burn oil but the 09-11 are more common. Being manual you are going to burn oil naturally but don't be surprised if you see a quart low after 500-1000 miles. It has to do with the Piston rings. There have been extremely cases were it burns oil very fast so since it's a new car to you check every gas fill up until you are comfortable with it.

There is a service manual available as well in PDF form. Google 2009 tsx service manual and it should be the first hit pointing to a forum. Save it to your computer/phone. Comes in handy.

If you're a member of our military thank you for your service.

well, that will be on a case-by-case basis, as we dont know your car...or havent driven your car to figure out what else it needs.

Once you get back to your car, you can inspect it further to figure out if you will need anything
