that kit is crazy expensive, i bought my entire interior led set for 16$ and it included door lights. the kit i got is very bright and it has lasted a few months now so for 16$ you really can't complain. heres a link if any of you are interested, http://www.ebay.com/itm/151164602238...S:1123&vxp=mtr

You get what you paid for. The quality and the brightness of the exLED doesn't even compare to the cheap ebay kit as many members have said. With that said, I would never get the cheap ebay stuff. No offense.

not/ each exled board is made specific to the tsx. EX. the center roof light.
the exled board FILLS the complete area. its not a GENERIC festoon. besides that, it has an output adjustment as well to control the intensity.

if you dont KNOW perhaps you should keep your ignorance of the subject to yourself/

everyone knows of the cheap ebay LEDs. if thats what you want.....enjoy.
we have had 2 or 3 successful TSX group buys......and I have not seen one negative post about the products, the customer service, etc. and its over two years.

You can buy those same LED boards which fill the area on eBay. The point is that the LEDs on the board are the SAME. The only reason you are paying $115 rather than $15 is beacuse your ordering from a company with a name rather than some eBay seller, and for their added feature of light output adjustment... (so a simple circuit with a potentiometer) It's the same 5305 (or whatever it is) LEDs from the same exact place.

lol leds are leds... there is nothing special about the leds from xled compared to anywhere else. you can get these from digikey for like 40 cents each. you can even get cree for like a dollar each

I bought each bulb individually from eBay, and everything came out perfect.

It's almost blinding how right the vanity bulbs are. Only ones I swapped were the reverse for Cree bulbs.

But as wassobe said cost me a whole $20 for everything, not including reverse bulbs as they were 10-15 bucks from what I remember.

Goodluck though to each his own.

i've had both ebay ones and the exLED ones. unless the ebay ones changed, the exLED ones are much brighter than the ebay ones. the ebay ones also have that blue'ish tinge to it...like 6000k color. exLED lets you choose what color you want it to be. ebay does not (at least not when i ordered a couple years back)

yep, I want white ---- not blue, not yellow...ordered the 5000K exLEDs...perfect!

never know what you will get with the ebay "extreme white" LEDs

I got my exLED map, dome and license plate kit in 5k white a few months ago, love them. Jin is pretty cool, when I received my package it was noted that the dome was temporary out of stock, after about a month of waiting I emailed Jin and was informed about an error and was shipped out immediately.

Bought these about a year or so ago, and they are awesome....nothing has fail thus far. I had gotten boarded LED's before (the cheaper options on ebay) and they'll last a very short period....for the dome I actually got two sets of two - 2+2=4 from different esellers, spent about $40 and 3 of them were out all in less than 5 months..... bad luck? maybe....

All in all I ended up paying $150 to have some reliable LEDs

It is hard to lump all of "the ebay ones" together because there are lots of ebay sellers - but - one can say that the exLED lights are great quality.

i totally understand where your coming from. when it comes to certain products you do get what you pay for. I'm just saying that the ebay kit i have in my car is very good and it is reasonably priced. at the end of the day what you guys choose to do to your cars is your own business.

I contacted Jin about extending and combining the group buy with the 1st Gen TSX LED Kit and he said OK. The deal is still the same. Please keep note of this since I cannot edit my original post. I also extended the groupbuy until August 17. If we need to shorten or extend it for any reason, we can do so, if required.
