Da hell does that even mean?
It's debadged and has Spirior tail lights; plus we're 2 years out of *model* production so I know that doesn't mean he just drove it off the lot and still has less than 1000 miles on it...
What exactly needs to be "broken in"? How about a quick video as the car DROVE AWAY FROM GETTING THE EXHAUST FITTED???
I don't buy it.
Just give me something! Something so I know it doesn't sound like a wet fart in a Folgers can, so I can spend money I don't have on this thing I don't really need for reasons I can't justify.
PLEASE?

An improperly broken-in exhaust can lead to pipe constriction and therefore increased back pressure, and can also disrupt the pulse-tuning aspects of a good exhaust. On top of it all, you may not pass emissions!
Not properly managing your heat cycles in the first 47 +/- 2 hours of operation may ruin the heat treatment of the pipes. They can become soft, or worse, brittle and crack-prone.
Make sure you let the exhaust come up to temperature and then cool completely at least 20-25 times before exceeding 25 mph. Any additional airflow under the car will make it cool too rapidly
I'm just fuking with yall

I find it hard to believe the manufacturer would just allow the test vehicle to be fitted then go on his merry way without taking a bunch of pictures and videos of their new product.
Chime in, EndlessRPM/AckTL05?

Yeah, that actually makes a bit of sense.
Still, I'd like to hear the initial tone and the broken in tone as well.
Meh. Guess we'll just need to be patient.

Guys and girls to clear some stuff up:
No sound clip because the way it works is the company makes it on the car, and then ships it out to us for local install on a car for the final approval. we have in the past changed a few things, or we liked it - either way we don't want to jump the gun and post a video that may sound slightly different than received. but to move things forward the delay was owner of car had to wait a few weeks to drop it off, but things are underway and exhaust is shipped out to us, so figure about 1-2 weeks we will have it installed and videos galore. Usually they do videos for me and we post, but not being broken in and someones car they didn't want to drive it. His car was on bags and custom so they didn't want to risk anything, and as we all know an initial start up of a new exhaust on idle really isn't what it sounds like under load. I promise the wait will be worth it and we wouldn't jump into something that will fail as in the past our 3g and 4g exhausts are a popular item.
Also, broken in we are referring to the exhaust. All exhaust being new need to be broken in by carbon build up, etc so over time it will get more aggressive and "clam down" persay and get more throaty. So while most of our tl videos are just installed, that isn't the final sound - it will get better over time as it breaks in.
As per welding, these are slip fit connectors - flanges design sucks. Of course where it connects to the front it will be a nickle plated thick flage, but the rear is slip fits. So there is no need to get anything welded as this unit will be a plug and play.
We are also lining up a wagon to get either a longer mid section or an extended pipe to order so we should be having a wagon design as well since owner who went in also confirmed wagon does fit just needs to be extended so we are figuring out the easiest solution on that part.
This will not sound like a fart can, civic etc beause we are using all American made stainless and American built. We have in the past see our systems installed on a v4 accord and sounded great, someone modified the 04-08 tl to fit 03-06 accord and being a 4 it didn't sound rice at all. We are confident this will be one of the better sounding exhausts being quality material. All exhaust sounds different from either mufflers, flow and piping. Others being china made the exhaust notes bounce off of the metal which is why on ebay or some other systems it sounds like a tin can because the exhaust pulses and waves are bouncing off thin and non stainless material. They claim stainless but that's china grade which ive seen in the past that china grade has a different material and wouldn't even be considered true stainless in America.

no rasp???

Only way I would assume rasp come into play is ideally when one uses ebay parts, tuedo products, obx - all china made stainless that just rasps like no other.
Just the other day I saw someone post saying they didn't want to get it because they saw on the 3g section endless has rasp - but that's not true. The car did have rasp but he was also running a tuedo j pipe which was the cause. I've switched people over from other exhausts and they went from rasp to none.
To be completely honest IMO when buying an exhaust I don't 110% go for just sound. We not only go for sound, but the two other most important things - drone and rasp. Those three key factors were what we had in mine before making any exhaust. Most exhaust are just "made" and sold - we (as you an see) have about a few months into this already just designing the thing.
PLUS, did I mention that all of our EndLess catbacks are LIFE TIME warranty to original owner and made here in America...

Hey Bruce, the other exhausts you've made for other platforms... Are they all 409SS as well? I'm sure compared to whatever low-alloy used in the OEM exhaust 409SS is a giant step up. But I wonder about the long term durability compared to a 304SS system.
Maybe it just isn't an issue?

Do we think the RV6 PCD would still add rasp back in?

problem is don't confused this with the all time shinny 304Sus which is the china grad stainless they claim to be full stainless in their systems...
Our mufflers/tips and connectors are all t304, the piping is 409. It really comes down to how you take care of a system - ive seen a name brand 304 for the 3rd gen run through within 5-7 years. While its rare - it happens to anything if not taken care of.
They do lifetime warranty the pipes, or million miles. So ideally they stand behind that it will last. The only issue with rusting through on 409 would be faster than 304 but your talking 1 millions years compared to 5 million.

I figured as much. I'm far from a metallurgist, all I know is that 304 has a higher chromium content and is more resistant to corrosion than 409.
But even on the low end, I'm not likely to keep the car much longer than one million years, so it sounds like 409 would be just fine.
Thanks for the insight!

After this we are moving onto the TLX, really hasn't been enough interest for RL's on anything. Here or there yes, but we need to make 50 of these in a run that isn't cheap and for 1-2 people that have asked me within the past year or so, we didn't see much interest unfortunately.

We would need 5 people paid for and we will start the wagon version. We can change the regular a little to fit the wagon, but to be a perfectionist I rather just do a whole other line and be two different set ups to fit both cars perfect. Anyone interested who has a wagon?
As per dynos, we don't have one yet and their not out. I will say all of our systems- from j pipes to catbacks have all shown a significant dyno gain. For instance our j pipe with test pipe for the 04-08 dynode 3-4 more hp over long tubes.

ANOTHER GREAT thing about this system is that are making two front sections with EVERY order. One section will be non resonated and one will be resonated, so you have the choice for resonated or non resonated depending upon how loud you like it, mods, 4 or 6 cyl...

^ What OP just said above - one was made for testing/etc and pictures/videos are uploaded to the site under description. Wagon we need 3 more to get the project underway and sedan are in production so that price is only for another week or two being its a presale price.
