OKay got my first few questions for you guys.
My oil Life indicator went down from 100 to 90.
Just want to make sure it goes down by 10
And im just shy of 400 miles. At that rate it id be getting about 4000 miles out of my first oil change. Ive heard of people going 5k-10k before?
Also, I Filled up with 93 Octane. Got 200 miles with 5/8 of a tank which puts me at about 320miles per tank. and im averaging 20 mpg between city and highway. and its about 60%HW and 40%CITY.
I thought i should be at a better mpg. Ive bean easing on the throttle to get to speed limit. Babying it and then getting the MPG indicator to be at 20+ while im going down the street.
I wonder if just getting on it a little more on a green light and then coasting earlier would help? While easing up to the limit my MPG indicator is at the 10-15 mark.
Just trying to figure out if this is normal for the tsx

yea i came home thursday night, to find more damage on my baby. i'll put up some pics tomorrow. i gotta go to the body shop that handled the car after the accident sometime soon, but its in brooklyn, and my dad has to come with me, and he doesnt have much time. im in the city wayy too much lol. i drove my sis in and picked her up from NYU territory twice today. 8:15AM and 5PM. both times, i got from the GWB to the west village and back in less than an hour. pretty fucking amazing time for rush hour on friday lmao. i'll be back in the city tomorrow around noon for some errands, then back to jersey. im around, just shoot me a text

Ha. That would be me. Luckily no damage, but what a friggin hassle. Loved standing out in the cold driving rain that day waiting for the cops to show up, arguing with the parents of the teenager with the cellphone that caused the whole thing.

Around town, we're averaging around 24mpg in the wagon. Just hit 4000 miles and we're at 50% on the oil life. Bringing the first one in early since I just got a free oil change coupon from the dealer.

I'd say in NYC you're not quite out of the range of "normal" for mpg and oil wear. NY area gasoline sucks. If I fill up in NH or CT I get about 3-4mpg better ALWAYS than with NY gasoline, even under the same driving conditions.

Ive noticed that the first tank i got wl the car from the dealership got the most MPG for me. i filled up this Saturday as my 2nd Fill up. 93 Octane BP
&& im getting less. Does the factory fill with 87 89 93 ?
Ive also read people using 87 getting better mpg than 93.
As far as my OIL LIFE indicator, im at 90% and have ~780
Does that sound right ?
