looks like a dent from a flying rock or debris...it happens. just think of it as a road christening for your ride.

I had a flag flying from out front porch break off during high winds and left a dent (about a quarter size) on the hood. I took it to a paintless dent removal, and with 15 minutes and $60 it was gone.

It may be a little harder to reach because of the location of your dent, but give them a try.

Your tints look good. I'm just going to leave factory tints on mine. I wear sunglasses all the time (rain and night) and probably couldn't see. Also it reminds me of the early 80's when I tinted my Monte Carlo SS... could see crap at night.

Also for mods, I'd suggest getting splash guards and side body molding. IMHO, I think the TSX looks more rich, wider, and more euro with those additions.

Will try it. For $60 bucks if it could just be a little less noticeable for now I'd be happy until it gets sent to the shop. thanks bud

I pretty sure it has to be 20 all around as well. they had to have gotta confused and mixed up the rolls, Im going to attempt to go back tomorrow of I find the time and let em know. when I go to the car tonight I will be able to tell now, of it's pitch black it's gotta be 20. 35 would allow me to see a little Tan leather. But I can't see much in the day time so it must be even darker at night

Welcome to Azine man! clean ride, nice choice in colour

I can only aspire to be in your position when i'm that age lol.

But yeah, as mentioned before, if you get the back redone, tell them to get that hole by the brake light too!

most engines are pretty much broken in at the factory, i didn't do anything special for mine, mainly because its a lease and i wont be keeping it. tried to avoid above 5-6K for the first couple hundred miles. manual might say not to go above 3500 for the first 500. theres a section in the manual. and i'll be around dec 15-jan 15. so anytime during that, if im not skiing or something, im down to meet even to just chill and grab lunch or for a quick mod lol

Well im almost at 200 now, between yesterday and today racked up another 50 miles. I do 75% city driving, and 25% highway right now, ive been gentle for most of the miles, MOST lol.

Its a Honda!
I know some builders who prefer to break their motors in on the DYNO.

hitting vtech going about 90 over the boat basin west side highway jump is the most satisfying feeling in the world. second only maybe to roadhead during said jump

my wheels were off the ground when i hit it at over 100, but it was 2am and no one was on the road

hahahaha no, its a major highway in nyc, im only an idiot when i can do it safely like on a highway with no intersections where i know the on ramp is on the right side, and its mainly a straightaway. theres an awesome bump by the boatbasin on 79th st where even going 60, you get lifted out of your seat. at faster speeds, with a light car, you can catch air time i wish i had yellow calipers though, so i coulda gotten more hang time =D

Lets set it up, i also know a few great photographers in the local area which would love to cover a gathering of gorgeous acuras. For all this we can make it more of an Acura rather than just 2nd Gens, But if a decent amount of us 2nd gen' ers go together we can just be a huge group attraction

Spoke to the tint dude today, Said he would redo the rear window,
But the reason they cut out the brake light is because in the case of a rear end collision, Insurence can try to deny coverage due to reducing the visability of the brake light

Makes sense, I'm going to change it. Just not right now. I'll wait till I have a PBA card and then go blacked out

i don't see how the tinting the 3rd brake light would let insurance deny coverage...unless your other two brake lights aren't working? I mean yea the third one is tinted but doesn't mean it's NOT visible...never heard of the 3rd brake light being an issue. i know tinting your regular brake lights could be cause for insurance denial but the third one? meh

i think thats more so the installer trying to cover his ass. but rear tints are legal up to like 15% or whatever in ny and nj. so they legally cant deny because of that

Im working on this PBA card, i just spoke to a relative in the neighborhood, and she told me theres a squad car that sits by the ramp of the freeway on my exit every night, and loves tint tickets, shes gotten atleast 4 or 5 already, and is still awaiting court dates lol.

This PBA has to come through !!!

&& I agree wl you guys, work owns me right now but the chance i get im going back and having it removed and re applied
