Mysterious oil leak

When I got out of my car today, I noticed some oil on the left side of the hood release under the dash. I tried looking up to see if I can find the culprit, but all I saw was a bunch of fuses and the plug for the obd2?

The only thing I could think of that would leak oil would be the master brake cylinder, but I couldn't find the leak. Anyone else heard of or have this issue? Btw, I own a 2012 se with 1,400 miles.

take it back to the dealer and have them look at it-it is under warranty.

With that low mileage and being a 2012, it might not be a leak at all. It might be simply overspill when putting her together. But I do agree to take her to the dealer to check it out.

I suspect it is a bit of cosmolene or some other protectant. Just wipe it off and keep an eye on it.
