Looking at purchasing a 2009-2014 Tsx

Hey guys I’m new here , just parted ways with my work vehicle and looking to make a purchase of the 2009-2014 tsx, I’ve been looking around lately and have a few questions. I’ve noticed from one model specially that’s a Navi with backup camera package had side skirts and a more aggressive front bumper and rear bumper which sits lower and I don’t know what package it is as I don’t see it often. I was also comparing it to the aspec kit which oddly enough doesn’t have Navi or the backup camera but super nice comfy interior with a darker headliner. Basically I’m trying to find out if the more aggressive style body that comes from factory was not very common or is it aftermarket ? Kinda looks like modulo kit ? Did it come factory as an option?

Google TSX Special Edition. I believe this package had some aero kit and updated rims. There was no Aspec for the TSX so it would have to be a mod. Only other edition I know of was the 6 cylinder which had bigger rims also.

That pic is of the Modulo front bumper. Yes it came on the special edition cars. It is also an upgrade for any 2009-2010 TSX, 11-14 had a slightly different sized grille....

This is mostly true. You can still purchase the Modulo front bumper from Acura, because I did. I have a '10, and as stated above the 09-10 grilles/fogs will work with the Modulo bumper. If you purchase a 11-14, you'll wanna pick up 09-10 grille/fogs as well. My bumper came paint matched, literally pulled it out of the Acura box, and installed it on my car.

The mid-cycle update starting in 2011 added several useful features and updates. I would lean toward an 2011-2014 in the used market. Also, from 2012-2014, a Special Edition was offered, with cosmetic changes, but no performance upgrades. During those model years, the SE was the only version available with an MT.

Yes, just like my sideskirts I just ordered and installed! Paint matched perfectly right out of the box!

Is this only in the US that the dealerships still sell paint matched body parts ? And also does anyone know becuase I have the Modulo style bumper would the fog lights be different then the factory ones ?
