Leaky chain case seal
Noticed some oil seepage... had the dealer confirm where the leak was coming from, though they didn't use a dye.
They say it is this OIL SEAL (43X58X7) (FRG-NOK) for 2009 Acura TSX SEDAN|91212-R1B-A01 (#4 on chain case diagram) that is leaking. Had the piston re-ring and vtc actuator replaced back in February, confirmed it wasn't a part that was replaced, so it isn't covered under any service warranty.
Quoted me $338 minus 15% discount, so about $290. Does this seem fair? I haven't pulled up the service manual to see what is involved and wouldn't mind having them take care of it, unless it is an easy job.
