Back in August, I saw that ktuner was looking for people to test on an 09-10 TSX. So I was like sure, i'll give in. I wanted to get flashpro, but this is was a cheaper option.

I'm not part of ktuner and i'm not trying to sell anything. I'm just giving my opinion of it in case someone else was in the same boat I was in.

A little of my history. I've owned two kswapped cars, one was a supercharged k20 ek and the other was a fully built k24 eg. I've also owned 2 rsx's, an 02 and an 06. So I know my way around k-series. I currently own a 09 tsx 6spd.

I've been working pretty close with ktuner for the past few months to check it out run some datalogs make some adjustments. My car is stock except for the ktuner. It plans on staying that way as well. Its a driver for me and will stay comfortable. The only thing I didn't like about it, was the powerband was very laggy and somewhat lame. Maybe its the throttle by wire stuff, I don't know. But hey anything can be fixed. After driving the previously mentioned how could I not touch the tuning? So here we are.

Now that we have a good baseline, the car has awoken to be a whole new beast. Its much better and the way it should have come from the factory. Its much more enjoyable to drive. The software is pretty easy to use. I wish it had a few options such as logging without a pc, supposedly he is working on that. Thats the only thing I dislike about it at the moment. But other than that i'm very pleased.

Would flashpro do the same? Probably. could I have done that. Of course. I just figured I'd try something new and pretty happy about it.
