In any other manufacturing enviroment, using the same part across the board is the way most companies go to save costs/inventory/warehousing. The reason why Acura has different beepers is because the TL/MDX/ZDX is built in the USA, the TSX is built in Japan.

OP, why dont you hire someone to follow you around and yell BEEEEEEEEP whenever you lock your car?
