Just replaced my high beams/DRL

Aren't yellow headlights illegal? If they really are a shade of yellow, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't pass inspection in Mass.

They're not headlights, they're daytime running lights (DRL's). The only drawback is that they are also your high beams just at a lower power. I live in the city and do not use my high beams very often. But when I do... they're yellow.

K is color. Higher is "cooler". 2700 is yellowish, on par with say a 60W incandescent light you might have in your house. 5000 is pretty white-ish with maybe a hint of blue. 6000 starts to look more blue than white and 7000+ is tending towards purple.
Each manufacturer will vary a little bit but here's a rough guide:
LED vs HID is a bit more nuanced and I'll let someone more versed hit that one.

Haha! Surprisingly, I never attracted any cops! They aren't really strict when it comes to that stuff in MA. Not to mention I had both headlights AND foglights in 10K!
Got away with it for a year and some change, until I developed migraines from trying to see at night.
