Just a few TSX Sport Wagon thoughts...
Okay, So I'm about to qualify for Medicare.. My friends say it's all good, but I have to say... that as I park my 2011 wagon for the winter... I'm so glad I own it! "S" o dear, it is a sweet car! I'm also glad my spouse "lets" me "kind" of park it for the mag chloride, rock and snow sessions of Colorado.
I've had lots of cars, but can't remember one that suits all my needs as well. More HP would be good, but the VTEC is fun.
My British cars were fleaky leaky MGB-GT, TR6, and a Bugeye... My 69 Nova 396 was scary.. the mods on my 92 MX5 were a total kick! The silver 99 M3 was TOO much fun... but I could not afford maintenance and tires!
Bottom line... I have been in love with the European Honda Tourer for years! WHY don't Mericans like wagons?
Not many mods...but next Spring a whole bunch...!
Long live our Acura TSX Sport Wagons!
P.S. ropp Thanks for all you have done!

Ha! You know why the British don't make computers, don't you Sweeny?
They can't figure out how to make them leak ______________ (enter an automotive fluid of your choice).
Our automotive history is strikingly similar. MG's galore (I was lucky to have an older brother show me way of the inexpensive British car hobby), a bug-eyed sprite, a morris 850.
From zee Germans: an e30 m3, many vw's( gti's, scirrocco's, several jetta iterations)
From the japanese: A few Z cars-- most notably: a gutted, pure sports car 260 from the early 80's. a 280 ZX with many more creature comforts than the gutted 260, but still retained the bad behavior. lol. most recent japanese cars are the 3G TL, and of course the only car currently in my stable: 2G 6MT TSX.
While I would like each and every one back, I am thoroughly pleased with the TSX. It does many things well and everything else 'well-enough'.

Congrats on the wagon, Sweeney. Hope you enjoy it as much I (and a handful of others here) do.

I just put 10,000 miles on my wagon and I "still" like it after about 7 months. I too have had lots of British sport cars and still have a Lotus Elan. As long as I can get in and out of it with out too much groaning I'm keeping it, but maybe the Acura will outlast it.

Though I am not close to medicare, I love my new CPO 2012 tax wagon I bought last month.
I have a Lotus Elise, 2010 JCW cooper s and a 67 mini cooper S
Previous cars to the tsx wagon were 2011 mazdaspeed3 hatch and 2013 Lexus ct200(worst car ever)

They are all varying degrees of fun cars, except the Lexus CT200H. What a great collection otherwise!

Lexus CT200H was the WORST car EVER in my life! And I have owned such things as a 1991 Subaru Justy 4wd 4 door manual trans!!
Best day of my life was 11/24/14 when I sold the CT200h. It felt almost as good as losing my virginity!

TSX wagon shines
Love my 2012 TSX Wagon- GLM tech. REally enjoy the car. Has plenty of power for me and very versatile. Owned 5 acuras(rdx 1g, mdx, tlshawd, ilx 6spd, and tsx and it's my favorite. Guess I'm an Acura junkie.

I haven't owned all the Acuras you owned, sounds pretty cool. Was your RDX turbo? Looks like ZDx/RL are the only ones you haven't owned?
I have had 2 Integra (91 RS, and 93 GS-R) and a Legend GS Manual Sedan with the Type II motor.
So haven't had any Acuras in over 15 years.
Loving my TSX Wagon
We should all post pics of our appreciating wagons

Hi 2012 wagon,
My wagon looks identical to yours. I originally bought a 2011 MDX tech-Palladium silver but liked the wagon also, but needed AWD for all the snow we get here. Had 145 inches last winter and the MDX with bridgestone DVM-1 snows was unstoppable. The wagon isn't that good in the snow without snow tires and mainly drive when no snow. Looked at 5 colors when I bought TSX - GLM, BWP, Dark Red, CBP, and palladium blueish silver. Liked the GLM best on the wagon. The 2012 RDX-tech- CBP-is a turbo and it's a blast to drive except that it has a very stiff suspension whereas the wagon rides a lot better. I will be driving the RDX to North Carolina tomorrow because it has AWD with all seasons and is a safe bet if it snows on the way there. I've always liked the squared off looks of the 1G RDX and had a chance to get a new one that was old inventory at a good price. The 1g RDX is a solidly built SUV- built on a light-truck chasis and feels very solid when driven. I then bought a 2014 ILX 6spd manual-CBP about in Oct 2013, but the ILX had so much road noise it could be very unpleasant above 65 mph and shifting gets old when you have traffic lights every block for 5 miles or more. The ILX was really a cheaply built car and had a very plastic smell about the interior and I felt kind of "scrunched down" when driving it. I liked the smaller size of it though. Traded the ILX in May 2014 for a 2014 TL SH-AWD - BWP tech. The TL is really a beautiful car. My dad had a 2003 TL and the 2014 is a tremendous improvement. I currently own and drive four Acuras. Those are my extravagances. Prior to the Acuras had a 92 Camry V6-XLE and a 96 Camry 4 cyl Wagon. Have owned a number of Volvo 240 DL sedans and a wagon back in the 80's and 90's, and before that a couple of Mercedes Diesels which were darn slow at 0-60 in 33 seconds and top speeds of 79mph.
Great sharing with you!

When I lived in Boston for four years, I used a 1994 MR2 Turbo. Snow tires/all seasons were needed. When I lived 2 years in Missouri, I had a Lexus LS430. It was VIP on 19s on summer tires. It was a little hairy at times
Don't know the codes on the colors. Used to know them by heart when I was in the Honda scene back in the day.
I didn't want the maroon wagon, my wife has that color. I don't want that color. I love red and yellow (bright stuff), and it wasn't real red for me
The regular silver looks too bland to me. I also don't like black (to keep clean).
White was my favorite, but can't deal with the light interior. BLack interior was a must, so I can live with the GLM for the moment now I am happy with it
I didn't realize RDX was on a truck chassis.
I also test drve a new Civic Si Sedan, ILX, and Accord Sedan. All gave me manual, but didn't like the cheap feeling as you said.
I live on the 405 highway....in the middle of guiness book world record for worst traffic, still like the 3 pedal. Must be a machocist.
My roommate back in the day had a 82 Volvo DL . We did a 5.0 Mustang swap
My favorite is Canary Yellow 850 T5R with the dark wheels.
I really tried to convince my parents to get a 95 Honda accord wagon or the 95 Camry LE with the rear double wiper
I am more of a wiper whore than a wagon whore
Love your car history

@2012wagon - If I posted a pic of my car, it would look just like yours! I have the exact same color -- graphite -- although I added mud guards and side body molding.
I did post a review with pics here: https://acurazine.com/forums/second-.../#post14964529
Enjoy.

I don't have the body moldings. I feel they are bit too low, and takes away from the design (my opinion).
I do have the mudguards.
I have been thinking of getting the all waether cargo mat.

So as the saying goes, you see what you own.
I NEVER see the TSX wagon around here. My wife has a Mazda5, I don't see many of those either.
Two streets over, they JUST bought (yesterday) a white TSX wagon.
At my work parking lot, suddenly today there is a TSX wagon as well.
What the heck is going on
