Hey all I was at NY Auto-Show yesterday and took these pictures at the Acura Booth. I have to admit the new TSX looks tight in person and the front grill is not to shabby.



Front grill looks good in person.

Front headlights has this "Bulge" kinda like the new Accords headlites. I don't like them.

The DOORS were locked! I couldn't believe it because I just came from 2009 M3 Sedan and BMW's doors were wide-open.



09 tsx-wheels kinda resembles 09 RL wheels.

09 Maxima the new whore of Nissan.




New RL and RDX/MDX interior.

I think this is insde of RDX or MDX -sorry they look alike..


2009 RL's seats makes our TSX seats seem like plastic-leather...

Oh and Lexus had about 4-5 different versions of the "IS" models and they were all pretty sick looking..

I still can't get over the TSX's wheels....and the bulge in the headlights make me think of the new Civic's.

Looks better than the 09 RL and 09 TSX combined! What drivetrain is the 09 Maxima?

Without reading a single thing, I'll take a wild guess. There will be a 3.5 liter VQ engine torquesteering the front wheels.....

Hey, I was there yesterday, too! I think the 09 TSX looks good and honestly, I didn't notice a size difference, either. The grille looks better in person than in the pics, too. Unfortunately, it was locked so I couldn't get a feel for the interior, but overall I really liked it.

The RL doesn't look as bad in person, either, IMO. The front doesn't look great, but it's better than the pics suggest.

At this point, I would rather take the 09 Maxima than the 09 TSX!!! The 09 Maxima has great styling, and its list of luxury features put the TSX to shame!!! Listen, for about the same money, one will get a powerful V6, more luxury features and way better styling with the Maxima - I just don't see why one would take the 09 TSX over the 09 Maxima!

the front headlights are kinda weird but they grow on you
its got a 3.5L v6 makin 290hp

i actually spent more time lookin at the white 08 than the new 09
kinda disappointing

and that 09 pilot made me throw up

Why does the 09 TSX have a new Toyota Camry feel to it for me? I get this when looking at the rear and the front. I think it's the headlights, black honeycomb grill insert and taillights that do it for me. Does anyone else get this or am I crazy??

I think it looks better in real life than in pictures.

I was disappointed that both the TSX and the RL were locked

I agree - Camry with a Saturn front grille.

the 09 Maxima looks VERY sharp, sleek and contemporary - wish they could do one in a IS250/350 size which would be almost a foot shorter than the new TSX/TL.

I would love to see a new maxima-like redesign for '10 TSX after Honda realizes their mistake.

I just thought I saw a 2009 TSX in the street...

Turns out it was actually a 2009 Mazda 3



It was black too which made that horrid metal bar across the front stand out even more. I wish I could find a pic of it in a dark color and without the tape.

I don't like the front of the new Maxima but maybe it will grow on me. I do like the interior and the rear.

You're right, the front grill isn't so shabby. It's GAUDY. Your pics (appreciated, make no mistake) make it even clearer. Reminds me of a grasshopper's mouth.
I don't get it ... it's an AUTO SHOW. What are they doing leaving the new model locked up and not letting people get inside?? (Other than journalists.)

i was just at the show, it looks OK. maybe if i never had a 1st gen i 'could' settle for this one. but it's not exciting at all - the RL, jeebus, it's ugly as hell still - looking at it from the front about 5' back i puked in my mouth.

Yeah, I was surprised to see my TSX's twin there (08 PWP/ebony/6spd)!

The 09's front grille isn't THAT bad, and I might be biased but I don't think it looks as sweet as the 1st gen. The Ipod/USB capability is awesome though, I don't understand why Acura waited so long to add it to the TSX (this is my one complaint about the 08).

I'm not sure which BMW concept this was but it was very liquid silver'issh.

BMW X6 Looks hott.

Bare-bone stock 128 conv, it didn't even have xenon headlite option and it was 6 speed.

Fully loaded 135 Coupe . That lil'boy had this torso strap so if he wonders away indian father tug/pull'd him back

Two big dudes went inside so I told them oh stay inside let me take pictures of the leg room hehehe..

This is my dream car 4 doors and pure speed..(09 'M3)
