Help with wheels!
I have an 09 tsx and I have been doing countless research on tire sizes and rim sizes, and tbh I'm still confused. I want to get a set of forgestar cf10's 19's. I know an older member ed had the wheels; he ran 235/35/19 19x9.5 all around. (+39 in front +30 in rear).
But I am planning to run 245/35/19 all around with the similar offsets. Would there be stretch? Is this the best tire size to go with in regards to no rubbing and good ride quality? Would 19x9 in the front (245/35/19) and 19x9.5 in the rear (255/30/19) be a better option?
My car is stock and has not been lowered yet but it will be on coils soon after the wheels. Thinking a mild drop like 1.25 all around. I know there a bunch of threads on this but any help would be greatly appreciated.

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
If I recall from ed's thread, these specs just barely made it for him. Going 245 instead of 235, although doesn't sound like much, will very likely rub if I were to guess.
Check his thread again to be sure. Did he run any spacers? Did he mention rub? Did he mention poke? Also, how low was he? These things you'll need to consider as well when putting a slightly more aggressive approach to his already tried/true combination on your car.

I know he thought about going to 245 but I don't think he ever did. He did say he was rubbing once he lowered but I believe he adjusted the coils to the right height. I think he was lowered ~1.5 inches or 1.7 but I don't plan on going too low. He had a spacer in the front.

very true, and I think rolling the fenders should add a decent amount of clearance. I am just afraid of getting the 245 all around and it being a problem even with the coils, especially if I am trying to go with an aggressive rear . Do you guys think I should start out with used tires and play around with them?

so, if you go too aggressive with tires, just raise it up a bit.
its an adjustment that you're going to be forever making.

lol yeah you're right. I am at the point where I just gotta do it and play with it. My friend suggested I just buy the wheels and start playing with the tires and ride height.

^you do know that in order to keep the speedometer correct, you need to keep the same rolling diameter as stock tires, right?
