Where is that logo?

Yes, Subie plastics suck. The TSX wagon is the quality level and proportions that a Legacy wagon should have been. Slap a first gen RDX drivetrain (but w/ a stick)in our car, and it is the Legacy GT of my dreams, and I have often dreamed of doing that conversion. Or a 3.7L, 6MT, and SH-AWD.

Its rice but yet i get a ton of compliments at the car meets.
it was plug and play and while somewhat RICE AND CHEESE it is pretty cool.

i dont recommend them as the lens or symbol is not fastened well and actually moves or spins a bit each time i close the door.

I only installed the one and while it was a tight fit it snapped right in LOL/

the symbol or logo is MUCH BETTER RESOLUTION than the photo shows....my exLED blue leds are washing out the word HONDA but in real life it is very clear and crisp/

item link if you NOW want one

i am going to take the second one apart and maybe use it under the hood IDK yet.

I see. So it makes puddle lights with logo like Jaguar. You could probably superglue the logo in place to keep it from shifting. I think it's pretty cool. Adds 3hp.

Been gathering parts for my all black interior.........

I think I have collected all the SE parts that are interchangeable......

A pillars
B pillars
Sun visors and clips
Overhead console modded to handle tech
Sunroof shade and handle
4 grab handles....2 of them with coat hooks
Overhead lamp base

That leaves about 3 parts unique to wagon
Plus the headliner.

B pillar

yep, BMW has done the black headliners for years on M cars, and Mercedes has offered the brown w/ black headliner as well. Infiniti did it on the FX and M, and the Japanese G35 07+ had the option. For the BMW 135, the combo was a special order that a dealer couldn't order for regular inventory- it had to be a pre-sold unit.

Are you going to use the OEM clear housing on it? Quality of these aftermarket lights doesn't seem to be too great, but you fixed the main thing which was the projector lens.

Been working on headlights and collecting parts.

D2S Phillips 4300k

New oem ballast and igniters.

Amber devil eyes for the projectors

Like this http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...d=171160321059

Also working on some led strips amber 1mm led spacing. These will have a sequential look but really only 2 lighted segments. I will get a pic up here once i can capture the lighting.

I also finished buying all the SE parts for my all black interior.........

Sunroof shade and handle.
4 grab handles
Dome light base
2 sunvisor clips

Alresdy have in black:

A pillars
B pillars
Overhead console with tech added
Sun visors

There are 3 trim pieces and the actual headliner that will need to be covered.
Oh yeah one more piece in the headliner, the roof seatbelt child seat thing. Cant find that in black....need to check the honda suv and cuv

Are those regular 5050 LEDs? Or are they a secret high power blind you during the day time LED?

If regular 5050 they will be hard to see during the day.

question for you
the clear corner part, (not the reflector part) because I believe those pieces are seperate... does it appear to be the same size and shape of the oem amber one?

They are bright plus there will be a vled triton switchback in the oem spot.
Git them from radiantz they are very tightly spaced.

The last gen Legacy had a very nice interior. Considering the price of the car, the interior materials and design compare very favorably against my TSX and other luxury cars.

Ok so your point is that one gen of one model might have a comparable interior to the tsx.

I dont consider the tsx interior that great.. I said subie interiors suck ass and i stand behind that. 2nd gen tsx is not much better

In my job, (driving coach) I get to drive all all kinds of cars…what ever the kids bring to the course. robpp is right on! Most of the subies have something in the interior that has fallen off, broke or just doesn't work…not so with most of the Honda vehicles/products. There are some really nice old Hondas that are still in super shape and everything inside still works.
The interior in my 11 TSX GLM sport wagon is loads better an the newer Subies. My daughter just traded her 2011 Impreza becausee the dealer could not find an electrical issue that intermittently killed all the gauges and the radio. If you really study the materials used in a subie and a Honda you will find a significant differences. I disagree that the TSX isn't much better. It is not as good as my 99 M3, but not bad.
It will be interesting to see how the wagon holds up.

Difficult according to manual but kostantinos figured an easy way. You need a good needle nose or hemostat to grab onto this one puece in the door while you detach the old and install new handle. Takes about 15 minutes per side once door panel removed. I did all 4 in a few hours. The first one is tricky as you figure it all out.

Are you going to paint the calipers? There's a guy on the TL forum with a red set.

I'm in the same boat
Rather have them powdercoated but I don't want to rebuild them.
Some have said they can be coated with the pistons in but most want them removed.

Painting is a lot easier so I will probably go that route
