Was walking to class today when I saw a 2nd gen tsx with Texas Euro plates. Didn't know it was legal. Anyone seen thos plates before and do you guys think it's a good look?

a couple of my friends with euro rides have the euro trunk with state plates to mimic euro ones like your talking about and none of them had a problem as long as the reflect when light hits them as regular plates your golden. UNLESS the cop wants to be a dick

It depends. If it is a service member who just returned from Germany, then they can drive with German plates for 30 days or so (depending on state)

Sporting a "Euro" plate on the front in a "two plate state" is a violation and any Euro plate on the rear is a violation - with the exception noted above.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to display a Euro plate on a Japanese car.

I'd seize the opportunity to use a Japanese plate like me, seeing as our car is actually MIJ.

Here's my last ride, Mk5 Rabbit assembled in Wolfsburg.


We live in Southern Cali, and I've gotten two tickets for my plate(over 4 years). I was also straight piped for a while so that drew attention...among other things. Simply pay your $30 foreign country registration fee, swap on the Cali, show an officer, and repeat as many times as necessary.

alright, either way its personal preference and the theme of the car if they are going for the euro accord look i think the plates should flow fine with the car. but legally its up in the air atleast in connecticut
