Do your steering wheel buttons ever get confused?

My volume up button became channel up. My volume down button became volume up.

Things went back to normal the next day. Anyone else seen this?

This is happening to me more frequently. Usually the VOL UP changes the CHANNEL to UP. I have a 2011 TSX Tech 6MT.

Seems like a firmware or software glitch if it stops after an engine restart. However, mine will seem to fix itself while driving without a restart.

Not here, and it shouldn't on a stock unit.... you might want to get your eyes checked

What do you mean it "shouldn't on a stock unit?" Electronic gremlins happen on OEM and aftermarket electronics. I have driven the car nearly every day for 5 years. I think I know which steering wheel buttons I am pushing.,..oh crap, I just got reader glasses so maybe you are right...

One culprit might be the cable reel that is getting kinked somewhere in the steering column.

It happened to me from time to time as well. I also had it happen that they wouldn't work at all unless i shut the car off, and turned it back on completely. Very annoying.

Not my button on the steering wheels... but on the radio info screen, it sometimes blacks out until I press A/C button and etc... weird... not a tech pack.

I'm running all stock also. Strange phenomenon, never seen it elsewhere. I'm guessing if I took it to a dealer, they'd tell me to replace a bunch of stuff for a few thousand bucks.

No, but I now get confused because our recently-acquired 2010 Fusion has its audio buttons on the opposite side of the wheel! The TSX's left side placement is better for 6MT, because you can adjust volume while shifting.
