Do you have to hit the "moon" button on the dash everytime to dim the screen? Is there a way to have it change when the lights come on? Thanks!

No, you don't need to hit the moon button - mine dims whenever I turn on my lights. What might be going on for yours is that your brightness knob is set all the way bright. If you click it down one notch, the brightness on the nav should sync with your headlights.

Thanks so much for both asking and answering this question! I had done it once before, but suddenly was unable to replicate this action. I'd been trying to figure it out for the longest, and I just knew there was a way to do it. I'd unfortuantely had my brightness know turned up all the way. Turned down a teeny bit, it now dims just fine! Thanks!
