Breaking in a new TSX

probably wasn't a good idea for me to drive it right off the dealers lot and then paddle shift manually on the freeway ramp then? Lol. I'm pretty sure I easily reached 4-5k rpm. Womp womp. Good thing I only did that once.

I am fortunate to have owned several new cars domestic and foreign. I drove all of them hard right from the start. Hey if it is going to break let it break under the warranty.
I have never had an engine problem. And yes my TSX 6-spd has seen 6800RPM
at about 400 miles!!
It continues to see high RPMs on occasions.
It is what the engine was made for, my theory is if you baby it too much then when you do finally get on it you may have more problems!!

Just my thoughts, you can do what you want.
