Brake Lights

Hello!
I am brand new to Acurazine and have looked all over for help with replacing the fuse that has obviously blown that now my brake lights do not work whenever I apply the brakes. However, the third (in back window) works fine, thankfully. Where do I find the fuses, which one is it and where can I buy the fuse? Of course, this is my analysis; that the fuse is blown. My conclusion since both stopped working suddenly. Thanks so much!

Thanks. I have yet to find anything on the internet even extensive searches in Google, etc that tells me which of the two fuse boxes houses the brake light fuses. There's everything under the sun on this except what I need. I need to know which of the two fuse boxes is this located. All the diagrams I have seen, not one has a label or diagram that identifies a fuse for brake lights.

There is no single fuse for rear taillights. I'd guess it would be "Small Extr L" pull it and see if it's broken. If not pull another. If none are broken then you are going to have to check the wiring. There may also be a inline fuse to the rear lights.

^^!!

How do you know they both went out together? Maybe they burned out sequentially...but you just noticed it recently.

They (according to fuse box) are called STOP lights, not brake lights (whose idea was that?) Think they are #12 or #13.

And I think they are all on the same fuse, so I too would agree on bulbs.

If the fuse is indeed blown...

WHY did that happen?

Download the factory service manual PDF for your TSX. The wiring schematics will allow you to troubleshoot your issue and identify any fuses involved. Find it here:
