Bad inner and outer tie rods or steering rack?

After jacking my car up I’m getting play from moving the wheel at the 3 and 9 positions, a clunking noise coming from the inner tie rod but I don’t see any play happening. Removed outer tie rods and I noticed there was no play in the inner tie rod and it seemed fine and in good shape after removing boot. My question is could the noise be coming from the steering rack? It sounds like a clunk and is also heard when driving over bumps as well as I mentioned earlier there being playnehen physically moving wheel from 3-9 positions loud clunk noise. Thanks any help is appreciated

Check anti-sway bar links and /cv axkes for noise source, although 3-9 movement would not be explained. Wheel bearing or lower arm bushings?

good luck
