Another new wagon owner!
I bought it over 2 months ago and finally got around to posting about it. I submitted a review to Edmund's Readers Rides blog:

Nicely done (although a bit too glowing) review. Very well written.
You were indeed very optimistic with your estimate of MT sales - the actual number is nearer 5%, meaning that Acura would have sold about 160 manuals. Aside from the extra production line, the car would have to undergo crash and emissions testing - not feasible for such low volumes.

He was speeding, Rusty!
Great choice. We love our Acura wagon...for us it really is a fun, sensible compromise among all the choices. I just did a 350 mile road trip and averaged almost 35 mpg. Great considering that (around here) even Costco is closing in on 4.00 per gallon!

Good point about the crash and emissions testing for the manual. I was also thinking other hurdles would include what colors Acura would make the manual in, what parts of the country do they distribute them to, and how to get the dealers to take them. All these are hidden costs.
Fortunately, I get all my stick driving fun from my Mazda3.

Thanks! I tried very hard to be restrained, but I suppose a bit too much enthusiasm came out.
