I took my car for service last month and they notified me they also placed an order for the parts for the recall.
Got a call few days ago from the dealership parts are already in.

I received a large TK Holdings notice postcard about a possible lawsuit against Takata, the card was sent to me because I own a 2012 TSX. So I went to check the websites using my VIN and it comes back that my car isn't affected. However Acura and all the recall sites list 2009-2014 TSX as being affected. So what's going on? Is it really unit specific? How could they know which vehicle is affected? Thanks,

I got a card but it's from Auto Airbag Settlement saying the lawsuit is settled and I'm entitled to a claim. My 2014 Sportwagon still hasn't been recalled, and I haven't pushed them on it.

Unless something new happened within the past 2 months, my 2012 is also not affected.

My dealer did the recall on my 2012 Sportswagon.

Did it come up on a recall? When they entered your vin. I'm wondering if some of 2012 was affected?

my 2012 6mt had it done a few months ago. i got a postcard in the mail (cant remember if it was from honda or other) stating mine was affected.

You would be correct. I have a 2012 TSX Wagon and it hasn't been recalled (yet). The airbag poses more of a danger in humid and warm climates and I'm located in the Northeast. I do think, however, a recall will eventually be coming as the car ages.

There are no current safety recalls for this vehicle.

Same here. We're both in the NY area. Those in hot and humid states get recalled first since those conditions exacerbate the problem. But age will eventually force a recall for us; my guess is that my 2012 TSX Wagon will get recalled in 10 years -- 2022.

I never got a letter in the mail, but when I made an appointment via website for B13 service for my 2012 TSX Wagon, I was alerted that my vehicle was included in the recall. Completed as of today!

I got a call yesterday saying that while I had mine replaced during the recall over 2 years ago, the want me to bring the car in for inspection to ensure that the replacement was done properly (!!!!!!!!). I'm not sure if that means all replacement/recall work done by my closest dealer is suspect or what, but the idea that I may still have a murderbag is disconcerting.

I received a letter in the mail from my dealership notifying me of the recall. Made an appointment and they completed the process in less than 45 mins. Super easy.
