After 18 months, still enjoying the 2G TSX
Just past halfway into my 3-year lease, I am still enjoying my time with the TSX, though I definitely have an eye out already looking for my next ride, which unfortunately is looking like it will not be an Acura. With no news about the TLX, the ILX not living up to my expectations (read my review here), and the rest of the line-up not appealing to me, I am considering a pretty wide variety of options to replace the TSX. It is a fun car, but is not without a few rather glaring weaknesses. Good thing I have my motorcycle to help address a few of those. Considering this is my 3rd TSX and 5th Acura product, it's been a pretty good streak.

Great read. Had no idea you were from Boston! What part?
What other cars do you have in mind? I too have been toying with the idea of a new car, but I think I may wait several years.

The list of cars I am considering varies pretty broadly, but the car that just made it to the top of my list is the Audi S4. I finally got around to testing one today and it is pretty awesome. The only thing that I wish it did better is fuel economy, which is something I will have to decide if I am willing to sacrifice.

Currently living in Medford, though who knows for how long.

Nice. Medford isn't too bad depending on what part you live in, lol. And mannnnn I'd sacrifice more than just fuel economy for an S4, ifyaknowwhatImean

Yeah, I went from driving closer to 10k miles a year to now driving about 3.5k miles a year. Mostly that has to do with using the motorcycle more during spring and fall and a lot of miles cycling during the spring, summer, and fall. The TSX is largely relegated to longer road trips and cold weather situations that prevent the use of my two-wheeled options.

For comparison's sake, here are my thoughts on the TL SH-AWD.
I would say that it drives nearly as well as the S4, but the materials inside are definitely a bit of a step down.

A different view on the TSX from my brother, who currently uses his S2000 as his daily driver.

Why not just say what it is? What is the point of loading up the page to comment and then not just say it?
