Hey guys...I'm selling my 06 TL 6-speed for a TSX 6-speed w/ navi...just wondering how the car is so far for those of you who already have it..any big issues? recalls?

ps...does the 09 TSX's have the digital trip computer in the MID display like the old TSX had? i thought that was pretty cool lol.

yes it does, and the tsx is a bad ass car. I'm running into money problems with mine if you want to buy mine with 25k miles on it :o) 26k is the asking price :o)

IBTL!! You're probably going to be referred to the problems and fixes section of the forums.

I've only got a few hundred kms on it so far but I think I've got the two common issues....check the "pinging" thread and rear shelf crackling treads in there and you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm putting "" around pinging cause I'm pretty sure that's not what it is given the sound its making.

I'e had mine for almost a year now & it is a fine little car that does what it's supposed to very well.

I've had some minor issues with the gas lid door, cupholder console lid, had the speakers replaced (they claim there was a bad batch produced) but that's about it. I don't have any pinging problems as listed inthe problems & fixes, but some have reported it.

haha nono. i mean the trip computer gauge that goes up or down constantly depending on how hard you press the gas pedal.

Oh yeah, mine is a tech & it will display it on the MID or the center screen. I dunno if the base displays it on the screen or not.

ok. awesome...i've been lookin around in the forums and been reading alot of threads about problems (blown speakers, rattles, brakes, engine whine etc.) so i may just hold off until 2010 models arrive.....not sure yet..

If you like your car now, then I'd wait. I have/had many of the issues listed on here, and frankly it can be a pain in the ass. The car is very nice however, and over the long term I'm sure its a good car...just sometimes I wish I didn't buy it because of the problems. I only have 4k miles.

My other car has 25k miles and has had zero problems since new. Brakes have 70% remaining. Originally I was going to trade it in for the TSX. I'm glad I didn't.
