i'm interested in purchasing this car, the person selling is asking for 6200, i was wondering if this price was a fair price? or is it a steal. really love this car. thanks for the help !

If the title is clean it's a great price. Is it a rebuilt/salvaged title? I was going to say that is a steal but it turns out these cars kind of dropped in price within the last year. It's about right on par with the KBB value. Dealers are still selling 2012+ them for about $13K to $19K.

Also ask for maintanence records and if not then have it inspected. I know this is basic info, but too many people get burned buying stuff sight unseen.

Good point. 2009, 10, and 11's have oil burning issues to, with a TSB I believe. Never too thrilled about that, especially if the PO let it run low.

Yeah it’s a clean title, he’s pretty much giving it to me for what the dealer offered him, which is 6200. I did not ask burning issue

I wouldn't be surprised if that car hovers around a $6k value for years to come. Older TXS's, especially manual, seem to hold their value very well.

Very nice! Get the black crap off the grille

Edit - noticed one of the moldings is cracked on the grille. Looks like you can just replace that piece:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Acura-TSX-F...0/332461008719

With the price you paid you should seal the deal and get her up to spec. Replace all the fluids. ALL of them. Replace the brakes and tires if need be. If it is still using the Acura OEM battery, replace it even if it is working properly. You can upgrade the size of the battery for further reliability.

Pay close attention to the oil. These pre 2012 K24 engines are know (even 2012 +) to burn oil. Measure how much you removed and keep on eye on the level as you drive. There is no low oil light, just a low oil pressure light so don't rely on the car to notify you.
