What he said. And 95% of the time I'm driving with my parents, so I follow the speed limits/laws. It's not that I drive everywhere at 3x the speed limit; I may have once or twice down a empty road but that's about it. It's not like I try and drift everywhere either, I may try to do so in a closed parking lot but not in public roads. And is it really drag racing if you only go to the speed limit? I may have actually done it once when I was way over; someone called the police and I didnt do it again.

It is still drag racing even if you go the speed limit, and it's like a 5 or 6 point offence with suspension of your license.

I Spit On You.
VR1 maybe you should tell your parents that you need to drive more to 'learn' or that you may start driving on your own if they don't 'teach' you. I used to beg my parents to 'teach' me so we could go driving, it wasn't really needed lol.

Vr1, check out my sig.
the event is for april 12-13. class time and track time in your own car, with a personal instructor sitting in passenger seat.
Very great learning experience, as they'll teach safety and evasive maneuvers

VTEC just kicked in, yo!

We ran out of foil so we had to start being selective with what we wrapped. He hasn't taken well to some of our past pranks so I didn't want to go all in and wrap every inch of his office.

Got my end link installed, and wow the progress rear sway bar is awesome. So worth it.
This end link is like twice the thickness though, does a thicker bar do anything different?
Also, Fuck winter and fuck black cars. Front bumper is ruined... Next car is gonna have a clear bra on for sure. It's like this all over the entire bumper.

pics no worky for me/
regardless of what justin says....or anyone else for that matter.....I SWEAR by upgraded sway LINKS to go along with my sway bar.
I have both progress bar and endlinks and it even better/
so the moog is a little bigger than oem....that a good thing.
invest in the other side moog when you have some coin
i had links in my jeep with addco sway bars front and back. where the links shine is when you are on a sweeping curve and you hit a bump....normally it bumps you towards the outside, but not with links, it stays planted.
enjoy

iCrap, I dont know your suspension mods, but if stock and just upgraded RSB, you'll need to be careful going over bumps.
when one side is higher than the other it stresses the RSB mount.
go over bumps EVENLY if stock, or you'll end up with a torn mount at the subframe.
Rob will disagree with me, butt, the thicker RSB will stress the subframe mount if one side is higher than the other.
stiffer rear end springs will solve that.
at an engineering point of view, the thicker end link is not needed. as all it does is provide a pivot point to your lower control arm and RSB.
the only advantage to the MOOGS is the way its bolted on, preventing stripage.

Why is one side going to be higher than the other? as a result of the thicker rsb? or the thicker end link too?
and yes, right now it's stock with just upgraded rsb. springs, probably next.
Thanks for the warning though, ill try and go slow and even over bumps.

when you go over a bump or a drive way, and one wheel is higher than the other....the other side is being STRESSED by the thicker RSB
TSX AMG Type //M i-VVT
oh i gotcha.
has that actually happened to anyone on here before?
on the thicker link, i would have though the link may twist / bend slightly under cornering.. but i guess not?

a quick google search and i found tons of people with torn mounts. scary.
I'll be careful.

just make sure that when you go over bumps, you go over them EVENLY, so not to make one wheel higher.
after you get aftermarket suspension with stiffer rear spring rates, it will solve the problem.

Got to ride in a modded e39 m5 400whp and a f10 m5 630whp.
The TSX has never felt so slow.

I Spit On You.
Told you... I think.. Wish I had the V6.. This guy on M5boards he's 19 and has a E39 M5 RK Automotive Stage 2 supercharger pushing 550HP. Easily beating a Stock E60... And even then he has a whole bunch of wheelspin even in fourth gear.
I Spit On You.
This was stage one a month or two ago, and he was only pushing 505HP then. Now he's pushing around 550HP... It's insane. and who knows maybe since the F10 is a boat he could beat one, but I doubt it since he had so much wheel spin with just stage one.
TSX AMG Type //M i-VVT
wow wait.. know that guy with the supercharged e39. that car. is FAST. I could tell instantly it was him cause of his voice lol.
i have not ridden in that one yet, i've seen it though. my friend has gotten a ride though.
not sure if he'd beat the f10, the 400whp e39 i went it coun't even keep traction. the f10 was planted with hardly any wheelspin.
Also nobody really knows how much power that supercharged one makes, he won't say.
