2G 2012 Acura Tsx

Hello,

I've been searching around for catback exhaust and headers for my car. I haven't had the luck of finding anything. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

i just see the fujitsubo exhaust on heeltoe for a ridiculous price is there a reason we do t have any aftermarket options like maybe our exhaust is comparable to a honda accord with the same engine

Same engine or not, there's more to it when it comes to seemingly interchangeable parts.

Assuming it does connect properly.... what about interference with surrounding components? Or perhaps the stock Accord exhaust is longer/short than the stock TSX exhaust. Also, don't the I4 Accord only have single-out exhausts? It's not always immediately obvious whether parts from another chassis with the same/similar engine will fit without modification or not, but I suppose this is partly why we have these forums.

It would be naive to say that all aftermarket exhausts for the 8G Accord will fit the 2G TSX. However, perhaps some of them will. I believe Jaheri_cbp was entertaining the idea of putting on the Greddy SP Elite from an 8G Accord, but he ended up with an OBX exhaust for the 8G Accord; single-exit.

Back to the original question though... we don't get much aftermarket support, so most people just cut up their stock exhaust and put in Magnaflow/Vibrant components as they see fit. Otherwise, I know of these catback exhausts:
  • Fujitsubo Legalis R
  • Mugen (discontinued I believe, and incredibly expensive/rare)
  • CT Engineering (discontinued)
  • Tsudo (eBay)
  • Endless RPM (released like a month ago)

Yea it just didn't make sense to me coming from an e46 that there would be such a small choice of exhausts half of which are discontinued I thought there must be some underlying reason i guess you can call it naive haha thanks for the response, do you know if there has been no reported gains from adding an exhaust in addition to a downpipe because if its just for sound I'd rather keep my exhaust stock as well

^contrary to popular belief, there's no money in aftermarket car scene.

especially if no demand for exhaust for an entry level family sedan.

after market companies would be hard pressed to R&D, market, and sell for a profit.

that is why, there are no exhausts for the TSX.
furthermore, the TSX has been discontinued.

Supply and demand, my friend

Clearing stock?

Greddy *finally* released this. It's been in dev for over a year.

Although, I'm just a little bit suspicious about how EndlessRPM had one made up to start selling and then suddenly Greddy finally decides to shit or get off the pot.

Tinfoil hat me thinks one may have gotten a copy of the others.

Exhaust buying me doesn't care.
