Broken armrest ?

Center armrest

It's moving from side to side almost an half inch
Super annoying

When I slide it back to rear most position it slides a lot from side to side

When I slide it all the way to the front it doesn't move as much from side to side but still quite a bit (half inch worth )

1) can I fix it easily ?

2) or need dealer for more warranty work ?

IMO go to the dealer. You seem to have amazing luck with them. They probably won't turn you down.

Oh I have no qualms about going to the dealer

My ac is whining and this is broken
Both of which will be fixed for free at next stop

I was just wondering if it's a screw I can tighten up or it's more complicate

As I don't have any desire to get a ilx or tlx all day which I will rev to redline all day and so burnouts in

Yeah I'm surprised your car is having so many issues. Thank god you have the best Acura dealership in the world.

My bad likely doesn't help much, or at all. But #6 is the armrest. Maybe there's an issue with #3?

Here's an interactive one with more relevant parts:
CONSOLE for 2013 Acura TSX 5-DOOR

Maybe you can try tightening the bolts you see there.

My car was at the dealership for almost two weeks straight (under warranty of course) getting all sorts of diagnosis and new parts. Didn't cost me a dime. And this was within a few months of ownership!

Clearly you have never tried it. I have not, but even my old 97 altima could get the tires spinning.

OP, is this dealership they speak of Valencia Acura?

I'm sure a civic can peel out in the same manner OP is referring.

Again I have not tried. If the lock out you mentioned prevents that then I guess I am wrong. But even a 97 altima with less power can burn out when dropped from neutral.

My armrest is wiggly too. It's not enough to be a problem for me though.

5th stop at dealer in 9 months of ownership. My British cars in the garage hasn't been to the dealer this much.

My TSX wagon is turning out to be Doug Demuro's Range Rover.

Just dropped off at dealer for:
1) A/C belt whine
2) Faded mouldings in the rear
3) Arm Rest movement

Disassembling Armrest

I thought this may be relevant since this thread is about the armrest...I recently had a colony of ants decide to set up shop inside my 2012...they got underneath the armrest between the padding and the slider mechanism...I cannot for the life of me figure out how to separate the two...I can see that there are screws underneath the padding but they're unreachable unless the pieces separate. Does anyone know how to do this?

My dealer replaced the part that holds up the armrest. But it didn't help.

They finally replaced the WHOLE armrest (top part as well), and it is as good as new
